Hello,
When I applying for PR card renewal I stapled some of the documents together is that fine?
I also did not write my name on the photo envelope. Will that cause problems?
Thank you

Yes it will.. the requirements are pretty clear

The back of one photo must include:
the subject’s name and date of birth
the name and complete address of the photography studio
the date the photograph was taken
The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

Staples are never a good idea..it might injure the case worker, no kidding..

Check the following link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf

If you have followed the instructions as mentioned in the above link then you should be fine. I think writing the name on the envelope should not cause any issues, hopefully not. Let's hope for the best.

It does not say, true. But there is a bit of common sense involved, as well as asking on this board BEFORE sending off documents. Believe me, you are not the first or the last who did this, no big deal. It is no reason to be rejected..

but it does not looks professional
hahahaha..you are funny ;D all that really matters is that your application is complete and can be handled quickly. Staples are just a nuisance for the officer..if you want it look professional, use paper clips instead.

Hello,
The first time I renewed my PR I used a representative. Now for the name change I'm doing it by myself. I forgot to do the form that cancels my representative. Will he still receive information about the renewal or will it cause any problems in my application?
Thank you
