Hi everyone!
I have applied for Permanence Residence from Canada, as I have been living in Vancouver for 5 years now and today I received an e-mail from the Ottawa CIC office asking me to send the police clearance certificates. I have no problem sending my finger prints and photos to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico. However, when it comes to the SSP certificate I have no family member able to go to Mexico City in order to get this. I work full time in Vancouver and it is impossible to me to go to Mexico right now.
My family lives in a small town in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. My grandmother suffered from a cerebral stroke a moth ago, leaving my mother (her caregiver) unable to leave her alone. My father, who provides for the family, works 6 days a week full-time.
My sister leaves and works in Holland, and my brother, a full-time student lives in Monterrey.
I have written proof of all these information.
In the website listed below it says that I can contact you and explain you why I or my family members are not able to get this SSP certificates.
cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/mexico.asp
Is there anything I could do? I only have 2 months to have everything sent to the office that is currently processing my application.
Please advise.
Thanks
