Even if i reapply for VV again , i am not sure how to change the view of the case as i submitted all legit reasons and docs . I am not sure what to do now.

I think you should apply for spouse sponsorship first and then apply for visitor visa showing dual intent

I have applied for my spouse's Visitor Visa on March 04, did the biometrics on 09 March.
Since then there is no update.

Does anyone know how long it's taking for the decision to come?

I applied for my spouse's TRV using a paid representative in Canada. The representative filled up the imm forms and uploaded them to the representative's GCkey. I am worried now because I read somewhere GCkey takes a lot more processing time than the new IRCC visit visa portal, which the representatives don't have access to yet.

The new portal I believe is specifically built for family reunification because after selecting “To unite with a family member” – the next page is the new IRCC portal login and there it says, “You’ll hear from us within 14 to 30 business days”. If none of the above is selected the page takes me to GCkey. Any insights?

We also want to apply for dual intent visitor visa for her. What are the chances of visitor visa approval? And when we should apply for it, after receiving AOR or now? A lot of people told me that the approval rates are slightly higher if you apply after getting AOR,
I personally believe it doesn't matter , One needs a strong purpose of visit and Stronger reason as proof to return to home country(Noc of a job is not enough i guess).

Hi there ,

Please advise when did you apply the SOWP and did you applied from your home country?
I am Indian and working in UAE and applied SOWP earlier and after 11 months got refused and now planning to apply for Vv from India through IRCC new portal.
I was planning to apply for SOWP only from India but this new Vv will come to know the result in 15 to 20 days so I am thinking to try in Visitor visa.

Medical is also required for Visitor Visa?
