Need a little help po sa mga senior members dito, kelangan po namin ng wife ko ng advice....

My wife has been in Canada since December 2010, and has been working as a casual nursing assistant at Alberta. Magsusubmit po kami ng FAM application on August 12. But due to difficulties sa tinitirhan nya (mostly family issues), uuwi na po cya right after we submit the FAM. However, worried kami sa approval nya as a sponsor, for the following reasons:

- she has been working as a casual employee since she arrived in Canada.
- magreresign sya when she flies back home, babalik na kami ng sabay sa Canada once my PR gets approved.
- she will submit her payslips from this year and a COE, pero we're afraid that it won't be valid since she will be resigning anyway.

What advice can you give us? Do you think it is safe for her to go home right after submitting our application to CPC-M without waiting for sponsor approval first? I am worried about her domestic situation kasi that's why we decided that she would go home na and wait for my PR application with me here in the Philippines.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help! :-)

Technically, there is no income requirement for FC1 (spousal).

Does she have the "Option C"? I am assuming that she is atleast a landed immigrant (her SIN number should not start with a '9').
Do not worry about the documents issued in Canada. They usually do not verify them specially the ones issued by another Canadian goverment agency like the "option C". The letter of employment might be a risk.

I would advice, wait for the DM of the sponsor and pay the RPRF together with the application fee.

Good luck.

@ ashwood I agree to infinity...she's right..wait the decision comes first before you fly back here in manila...

thank you po sa lahat ng response.... I don't know what the 'Option C' is. But I am skeptical about including the COE, I believe kasi in harm with giving too much information, and I didn't see the COE as a requirement, naassume lang namin kasi sa financial proof. And yup, her SIN does not start with a 9.

I will be paying for all the fees (sponsor, PR, RPRF) online using my Philippines-issues credit card; would that work? Then I will forward the electronic receipt copy to my wife and she will print it out.

Thanks again, naiyak si misis sa mga sagot.... dahil sa relief po. :-) kasi we had too much questions in our minds regarding the application, nakaluwag sa loob nya that we have definite answers now. :-)

Hi ash...hope you don't mind but what is Option C? you mean Appendix C? Yeap! it is advisable to pay all necessary Fees para dire-diretso na process nyo after filing...besides refundable naman yung sa RPRF..it's ok to pay it online afterward print the online receipt and send it to CIC-M asap ...do not forget to attach letter to the Receipt stating that you made the payment...and provide a personal copy of the receipt for your reference...
