paki sali sa usapan yung friend mo dapat mag ask na siya nang help sa MP mas madali kay sa caips at overdue na rin siya so tutulungan siya nang kanyang MP..........if no feedback sa MP mag apply na rin siya nang caips......good luck kasi yung sa amin is within sa processing time pero walang news for almost 5 months at di maka pag ask nang help sa MP.

@ ceskat

yw good luck sa atin

@nice2010

The requester's reference number can be the client number of the one in Canada, may not be necessarily your spouse.

There should be one 5475 per person 18 and older. Don't forget to let your spouse sign this even though he/she is not the requester.

But only only ONE 5563, once lang ang bayad ng $5. Check the [ ] Access to Information Act (fee included). Principal Applicant's File number will be entered in Section B.

hello everyone here my husband want to go phlippines because visa very long but, very expensive ticket where we can find cheap ticket from montreal to phlippines

Hi Everyone,

Newbie in this site, and I must say, this is the most informative forum I have seen. Andami ko ng tips na nakuha dito! ;D

My wife is in Edmonton, Alberta; we got married last May (when I went there for a visit), and now we are starting to gather documents and requirements for sponsorship application. I am concerned though, about our marriage documents. Will the marriage certificate and registration of marriage from Alberta be enough? Or do I have to do something here in the Philippines (i.e. apply our marriage in NSO, I have no idea how)?

Our godparents tell us that our Alberta marriage documents will be enough, but I want to know for sure.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help! :-)

@ashwooddream

Be sure to get the "long form" of marriage certificate from Alberta.

Yup, my wife will be requesting for that one. Right now, we only have the 'diploma' version, which the two of us, marriage commisioner, and our 2 witnesses signed. Now that canada post is OK, we can go ahead and order.

I'm having our pictures printed out too; a lot of pictures actually (almost 100 photos of us together). Is it OK if I print them out wallet-sized so that when I send them to Canada it wouldn't be so heavy? I'm sending it through LBC to Alberta.

What else do they typically look for when it comes to proving genuine relationships? I have photos, emails, cards, tickets stubs/receipts from my Canada visit last May, remittance slips, cellphone bills with her Canada home number highlighted... do I have everything covered?

@ashwooddream

wallet size pictures is a good idea. Or you could get a contact print type in an 8" x 10" sheet that you can order through walmart.ca and have it picked up in Canada so that you do not need to mail.

You mentioned "remitance slips". Make sure that these are amounts from Canada to the Philippines. NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

your marriage certificate is enough, you also need to submit Cenomar since your marriage is not yet registered in the Phil.
you can also submit a photocopy of the pages of your passport na tinatakan ng immigration pag nag vivisit ka sa Canada.
