Spouse visa expiry extension

Hello everyone, my wife just got OWP approved as I’m on an employer specific WP. The expiry of the visa on her passport is 27/08/2023. But my sisters wedding is coming up in December I was planning to get my wife in canada after the wedding. Is there a chance that I can extended that expiry date to further date or she needs to enter canada before that expiry date. As the flights are sooo expensive right now.
