I have a question... so my girlfriend lives in costa rica, we plan on getting married one day, maybe next year, and was wondering if we get married will she be able to apply for a visitors visa to come here in the meantime the sponsorship applications are being processed? last year she applied for a visitors visa but was denied, I am guessing that if she applies for it again it will get denied again right? Just want to know since she would be my spouse then, the embassy will maybe grant her the visitors visa? Hope I can get some answers here, thanks!

Hey there, If she apply as visitor visa while she is having a sponsorship application in process, it is likely that they won't give her the visitor visa, because they will think that she will come to canada and stay, even if her sponsorship application got refused, and as far as I have notice over this forum, when you got refused for a visitor visa, it is a little bit hard to get it in the next time you apply.
good luck

if you have lots of proof of your returning back it might work
good luck

Also if you granted visa please stick with the same rules by meaning when you tell them you are returning back to your country do it and don't change your decision the other way around.
Good luck!!!!
