spouse sponsorship with goverment job

Hello, I am Canadian. I recently submitted a sponsorship for my husband from Lebanon, but my husband works in the Lebanese General Security in the passport service, and we submitted a resignation request paper and we stated that when get the PR paper , he will terminate his contract with the General Security in order to travel to Canada.So is there problwm in my husband job??
Note: we filled the forum of the militiray service or goverment jobs.

A TRV may be very difficult to get from Lebanon and given his background. Unless he can remain without employment until you get PR approval I wouldn’t resign. Given his background he may have a longer processing time.
