Hi,

I am new at this and until today I didn’t even know about all these forums/whatsapp groups and even keywords like AOR etc.

I seriously need your help since my ECAS timeline is so confusing:

Upon checking they have 2Tabs
On one tab i.e “sponsorship “ they have following updates:

1. Application Recieved Mar 26
2. AOR May 3rd
3. Started processing May 2nd
4. We sent you correspondence on May 22nd about the decision made

On other Tab they have these updates:

1. File Received Mar 26th
2. Started processing Application on May 28th
3. Sent medical Instructions on may 9th
4. Asked for PCC on May 10th
5. Medical results have been received

Apart from that that had mailed my wife that my file has been transferred to Dehi, India VO for further processing.

So I am super confused right now.
People that I know have been getting PAR letters and all and I am totally stucked and confused.

Please Help!!!

What is the confusion?
Sponsorship tab is for SPONSOR (the person sponsoring applicant), decision made means that they would have concluded if you are able to sponsor or not (which would be approved as they have been moved to Principal applicant [the person being sponsored] now).

Second tab is for Principal applicant (The person being sponsored)

Your file has been sent to Delhi VO for processing, medical results have been received however they asked for PCC (Submit it ASAP if you have not already). They have started working on your file on May 28th.

Did you send them the PCC when asked?

It seems to be progressing normally, nothing out of the ordinary. Processing times average 12 months so it's definitely too early to be expecting a decision at this point.

First tab relates to sponsor eligibility and the second is about the principal applicant.

I already had the PCC with me as my agent had advised me to get it done beforehand. I got it delivered to them within 3/4 days, after their request mail.

Thank u :)

I was already feeling so stupid about not knowing this site and all of that. Thank you for elaborating this. :)

I am just a bit tensed and confused about the way they process individual visas. People whome I know were 2months behing me, already got Their Pre Arrival letter.

They would count 12 months from March right? Since the gave me my frst AOR in March and by the end of May my file was in Delhi VO.

You know people who applied in May who already have pre arrival services letters in November? That usually only happens for some Americans and other really rare cases.

80% of spousal PR applications are processed in 12 months. I wouldn't expect anything til next year.

I have followed a few whatsapp geoup and in one of them there is a news that Delhi VO people have started give ng PR to April and May cases. Any Idea about it?

Yes,

One of my friend got his PR for Canada in 2016. Then he got married in 2018 and applied his wife’s file(from Punjab) in May. His case came to Dehi in july and he got his letter Today.

Plus I have seen quite a few other cases in other forums where Indians are getting their PR in 4/6 months.

I have recently joined a whatsapp group where I found this girl from punjab and she told me that she is member of a group from March2018 applicant. Everyone from that group(except 5/6 people) have got their PR letter. :/

There's really no need to panic. It's all progressing normally. Just because some people get it faster for whatever reason, doesn't mean everyone does. The average is 12 months - most people will fall into this category.

As long as you submitted the PCC and anything else they asked for, you're fine. Relax. You're at eight months of processing, just wait.
