Hi , my spouse and I got married here in Canada , I submit her application march 2014 for sponsorship together with her work permit application .. Just want to ask how to check for the status . We received an email this august 2014 stating that they receive the application already for sponsorship but not for work permit , how will I Check for the status of work permit .. pls help Sad

Inland applications are currently taking 13 months for stage 1/AIP. So if you submitted in March 2014, you can expect to hear something regarding the work permit sometime around April 2015.

oh ok ,so its not 6-8 months for the work permit ? is there a way to request it for faster process ? thanks
