hi we have the same problem, but im the who is sponsoring my sister, i was interviewed july 24 and until now we havent received any response from them, were all worried.. i sent an email to check the status but until now no response .. :(

im in manitoba , i was advice by the immigration officer here that i can apply for sponsorship with in canada for my spouse and while waiting i can also include the work permit visa . its just that until now we havent recieved any status yet .. i just dont know how to check on that . pls help thanks
