Spouse sponsorship in Canada

Hi , my spouse and I got married here in Canada , I submit her application march 2014 for sponsorship together with her work permit application .. Just want to ask how to check for the status . We received an email this august 2014 stating that they receive the application already for sponsorship but not for work permit , how will I Check for the status of work permit .

Are you sure that work permit and sponsorship application process in the same visa office?
Double check the CIC office and send the file to the right office,

im in manitoba , i was advice by the immigration officer here that i can apply for sponsorship with in canada for my spouse and while waiting i can also include the work permit visa . its just that until now we havent recieved any status yet .. i just dont know how to check on that . pls help thanks

send to to the correct visa office. Did you pay for the work permit?
