Spouse Sponsorship Application Tracker update.

Hi guys today i was checking the application tracker for spouse sponsorship and I see this weird update. Always the tracker shows

Sponsor Relationship : Spouse.

But today when I checked. It showed as

Sponsor Relationship : Other.


Why? What does that mean? What should I do? Should I call my VO and ask ?

You might want to check again tomorrow and if it is still wrong, try sending webform. I believe if you scroll down in the tracker information page, it says something like "report if the information is incorrect"

Does it mean they might call for interview or there is some problem with the application ?

That I am not sure of, sorry. In my case, something on my tracker was incorrect and I reported it and they updated it for me.

I am so sorry. i won't be able to help you answer that. It depends. Just check tomorrow and if it is still wrong, report or call

I am in the same boat; however, not only the relationship was changed. My UCI, date of birth, country of Birth, and place of birth were all changed to incorrect information all of the sudden... I think on the same date as Oct 4 like you. I also not able to track progress in the sponsor login anymore, but now I can create a representative login with the new UCI they listed. I gave them a call and when I listed my correct information to them, they said that is the info on file and not to worry about it or to send a webform. I am hesitate to send a webform because I have seen people say it could delay the application, but I have no way of confirming that. Is it possibly a glitch in the system? Suggestions would be appreciated.

Do you or your sponsor have a GC key account?
check that one, if info there is ok then its good. Tracker does not update always and its not the accurate tracking tool too. best log in to GC key and check. While linking to GC key be very careful. like double and tripple check.

Where do I check that info on GCkey? The application is already linked there and has been linked since the beginning with no issues, but I don't see where I can check the contact information.

Applicaton tracker is glitchy. but they will have the application details in your gckey. After login, (Asuming you open it in computer, not in phone) when you click on the link "Check application details" which takes you to another screen which shows the dashboard. one side Applicant details , and another side Application status. PA name, application No. and UCI is same as original. that means everything is ok. IT however doesn't show your dob and other details.

Thank you. Yes, all that is fine; however, GCkey shows nothing about the information of the sponsor which is where all the incorrect information is about other than the relationship. That shows as Other across both of our logins on the tracker.
