does it say Medical: in process? If so, then perhaps check back in a week to see if it has changed to complete? If anything I think it means there is some progress. Insha'allah you will have a decision soon.

Sponsorship application status:
1. We received your application to sponsor on January 20, 2016.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on March 2, 2016.
3. We started processing your application on March 1, 2016.

Permanent resident application status:
1. We received application for permanent residence on January 20, 2016.
2. We started processing application on April 11, 2016.
3. Medical results have been received.

this is my application but still not receive my medical in the system as that your medical show that medical receive but still not my show in my application when I saw the GCKEY then there have review your medical process that why I don't understand what happening .

zohaib....just be patient. everything looks normal and you have only been waiting since the beginning of March. Even though your application is linked to myCIC it won't show the actual application as it implies (i.e. you won't see any uploaded documents and forms like you would if you were viewing a TRV application in myCIC..

Perhaps try focusing on doing something else / something new...I started learning Arabic when I was waiting so I can speak with my husband's family...my suggestion to all people immigrating to Canada is to work on their English language skills...even though spouses don't need to do the IELTs or this sort of thing, being able to communicate in English (or French depending where you are going to) is the most helpful.

Ask many of you have noticed a lot of people are noticing changes to their eCas. Under the sponsors application it has been changed to decision made from in process (mine included). I got the approval letter way back in June I believe. Some are saying that means the pa will change to decision made too but I feel like rather than changing each file individually they just did a mass update. Anyone else feel the same or differently? Anyone heard any good news other than this news. In another thread someone wrote saying after a status was changed to decision made for the sponsor, that the pa got word for ppr an hour later. I wonder if that was just a coincidence. Any updates from this group?

If you have linked your application to myCIC and it also shows decision made on that system, you should also be able to see the details of the decision made - there should be a letter attached that was sent (that's supposed to be the advantage of myCIC anyways).

however, if it's just a status update from previously, they may not include any documentation (for example, when I linked our application to myCIC, it showed very little perhaps because our file is already closed)

But the good sign is that at least they are trying to catch up with things....

Hey all...just wanted to share our story for some insight...

On May 19 when I had found out that my mother had collapsed due to massive stroke I made travel plans to fly back to Canada to say goodbye. My husband who had landed in Canada Apr 1 then submitted an application for a PRTD on May 22. We wrote the embassy to see if processing could be expedited due to the circumstances but they responded that they could not. At the time, I remember the posted processing time being about 15 days.

After I came back from Canada, my husband went to VFS to request the application be cancelled and return of his passport (we submitted it at the same time in hopes it would help speed things up). A few days later the passport came back and we thought nothing more.

Yesterday (Sept 6) he received an email from VFS UAE to submit his passport. It only contained a reference number in the subject line and said he had 30 days to submit the requested documents.

I called VFS today to find out what happened. Yes - the PPR was for the PRTD (processing time of 110 days)....and she said that if we wanted to cancel the application, we needed to send a form to the embassy. Why they didn't provide that to us when he first requested the cancellation, I don't know. There is also nothing in the guide for completing a PRTD submission to cancel the application.

As much I would like to assist you with matter, I don't know the best answer for this but you can always reply to the email and ask for the instructions for completing a PRTD .
