My application was filed end March and transferred to ADVO. I'm a Pakistani national living in UAE.

I got an email from Abu Dhabi visa office to submit my passport, 2 photos and original uae police certificate within 30 days.
I obtained the police certificate online. Is the printout of the email(police certificate) accepted by advo? The police certificate states that no stamp is required and the document can be verified online through Dubai police website.

Ahaan. That's really strange. My file was transferred to London VO . I requested them to transfer my file to AD VO because average time is less here as compare to LVO but they refused to do that :(

They will not accept online PCC without stamp.. When u will request online PCC there is one option for local mail they will mail your nearest post office you can collect from there but charges are additional.. this same thing i did..

I guess it should be okay. I didn't know we can get police clearance certificate online. I got Police clearance certificate from Dubai police headquarters, it took 2 days and they charged me 220 DHS.

We can get online no any problem but you will receive hard copy through local mail.

Did you attach your residence visa copy with your application? I think my file was transferred to ADVO because my sponsor was also in UAE.

When I submitted my application in March, I applied for it online but did not receive a hard copy. I think because it has been more than 6 months they have asked for a new one.
I didn't see a mail-in option when I applied for it. Also, when I went to the police station they did not stamp it as the document states:

"This certificate is issued electronically and does not require a stamp
* To verify this certificate validity, visit our website and use e-Document Inquiry
Service.
* Any erasure or amendment in this certificate makes it invalid.
* This certificate is valid for three month."
