You will see in the application package that there is a document checklist - as per that doc you will require to provide police clearance for the countries where the applicant has stayed over 6 months in the last 10 years ( Please do check the time for I may be mistaken ) - The medical you can provide along with the application or you may wait for ADVO to send you a request.
Thank u... Did u ever talk wd visa officer who is handling ur case?or it is possible to talk wd visa officer aftr submitting application

I personally did not speak to any visa officer in Abu Dhabi. Have heard of members who have driven to Abu Dhabi to see someone but have been refused to see in person. They waited for hours I believe to see someone. You can most certainly go there to drop your passport once they approve your application and ready to issue your visa.

You are also able to send them case specific inquiry which allows you to upload files/docs as well. Would you be kind enough to share your time line with us so we can put on the spread sheet. Thanks.

Thank you - just curious what visa category are you applying under ? Since you recently got your medicals - it seems like you are almost at the final stage of your application.

If you need update of your application you can ask help from the Member of Parliament, they can explain or tell you whats going on of your application and they can help you to follow up of your application to CIC

This is a good sign that all your clearance is passed - you wont be able to see the Security part - as it is white out by the officer as part of Privacy Act Section (15)1 - you will see this on the corner pages where it says s.(15)1

From what I understand , your case is now with a Senior Officer awaiting review, if there are no security or criminality concern then you are to be requested for PHEP ( Passport,Height,Eye,Photo) and also RPRF (Right of Permanent Residency Fee ) - BF stands for Bring Forward , which is a dating system used on application, like the date when the application will be next touched. You should be expecting some good news soon Insha'Allah

I know for a fact that notes can be requested in most cases, and having a file number also makes it handy but do keep in mind the notes itself takes about 4 weeks to come in. Have you thought about contacting your local MP for this situation, they usually can push some buttons at CIC to get things moving.
Alhumdullilah. CIC informed me over the phone that my SA has been approved. Letter on its way in the mail. Once the file gets to ADVO, is it worth doing the medical prior to them asking for it, to save time? Or is it better to wait for them to ask for it? I realize it's a long wait, but at least now it's just a matter of time.

Alhamdullilah - Mabrook haldashti - The way I see it, there is no reason why you cannot do the Medical right away and send it to ADVO, having said if you wait for ADVO to request for it, your Medical is valid for a longer period of time ( e.g if ADVO askes for your medical in June 2014, then your medical expires on June 2015). It is totally upto you..

Congratulations loveu and welcome to Canada.

We completed our Medical's on 13th April - The physician called us on Thursday April 16th stating that, the medical records have been uploaded and has provided us with a tracker. We forward this tracker to ADVO via Case Specific Enquiry. Now the anticipation strikes again .. :-X

Alhamdullah Received PPR request :)
