Hello all,
Anyone here has experienced delays in SA stage? Mine is way past. I received AOR on March 14th, and my application was received by CPC on Jan 12th. I've been calling CIC on regular basis, the decision is not their's to make, all they could do was sending an e-mail to CPC inquiring about my case, that was torwards the end of March. Still nothing, when I talked with CIC today the agent tells me, they can't take any further actions, until 3 months have passed from the time they sent the e-mail! Frustrating to say the least. Any thoughts, experiences with such scenarios would be much appreciated.

Salam Haldashti - I myself had to deal with about 12 -15 days overdue during my time for SA - in your case it seems it has gone past a month. I am sure it is only a back log of files for processing at CPC. Hoping to hear some good news by the end of this month for you Insha'Allah

Today we got a request for re-medical; was really hopping that we could avoid it, but ah well. At least some news is better than no news.

Tamyboy - did you complete your medicals yet ?

Hello to! Yes My application is Familly class. My wife called the Ottawa office,they open my file and they say that they waiting my Police clearance from Abu Dhabi VO. I passed my NBI/ police clearance from Philippines together All application Form that they requested, except the Medical . My medical are done last Feb 17 2015. Do I need to send mail to Abu Dhabi VO for the police clearance? Thanks!

Salam Haldashti - I myself had to deal with about 12 -15 days overdue during my time for SA - in your case it seems it has gone past a month. I am sure it is only a back log of files for processing at CPC. Hoping to hear some good news by the end of this month for you Insha'Allah

At least you got some correspondence Nothing on my end yet. I don't get it they could've asked you in October when it got updated to in process. I guess that medical ext. was just temporary. Will your wife be able to do the medical? May Allah (swt) make it easy for you!!

Hello kakoimarlon - If Ottawa office has mentioned that they are waiting on Police Clearance and you know this source of information is credible. If you like you can have another police clearance ready, so that in case you are requested for one - you can hand one in right away. Did you get a chance to order notes, as it can be clear if you require another Eligibility/Security Clearance.

Would you be kind enough to share with us your timeline ?

I know for a fact that notes can be requested in most cases, and having a file number also makes it handy but do keep in mind the notes itself takes about 4 weeks to come in. Have you thought about contacting your local MP for this situation, they usually can push some buttons at CIC to get things moving.

Yes they could have asked in October - but I think its different groups which handle's requests and assessment. With the condition my wife is in we have 2 options

1) To perform a safe x-ray with a lead sheet - where the lead sheet is a metal that prevents radiations from x-ray.
2) A deferred xray - where you do the regular medical and then wait until your delivery to do the xray - this delays the whole process until the xray is received.

You will prob have to make an appointment - then once you go, you will be speaking to a secretary who is going to ask for your details and maybe consent forms - They some way of reaching out to CIC faster, but dont expect them to do it right away - it may take a little time. Let us know
