New to the group here. I am a Canadian spouse applying for her husband who is in Saudi Arabia. Application has just been submitted and inshallah by allah's will my husband can be here by end of the year in Canada.

I didn't enclosed anythng they juz gave me a airway bill and asked me to fill it I filled it and gave ma passport , 2 photos and tha printed form to them they gave me a c4 envelope to put ma stuff in it ..... I got all ma thing In it and handed that envelop to yhem with tha airway bill they me a copy of tha airway bill and tha original airwaybill was in tha packet of aramex with ma stuff ..... bro did I went through tha right procedure ? Do lead me a bit thanx

Hi, it will take maximum 13 days but hopefully sooner. I received it in 10 days when I submitted my passport. If it crosses 13 days, send them an email. They will respond. Or you can go directly to the embassy after 13 days and even though they will make you wait for sometime, they will give it to you that day.

i have a question : if i visit on the 10th day to abudhabi, can i get the passport back from them? they are open to public on mondays and wednesdays only so is it okay to visit them some other day as my 10th day falls on a thursday :-X ?

Indeed - Also Sponsorship Approval is at 90 Days. Believe there is a huge amount family sponsorship filed this year.

The 90 days for SA is discouraging, especially when it keeps climbing up almost on a weekly basis. It was 43 days in October 2014. Hopefully ADVO processing times don't get worse!!

Welcome to the forum. It is not necessary to submit the medical and police clearance immediately. I was told by CIC best to wait until they are requested by the visa office. There are senior members of this forum, they can weigh in more.. Good luck.

Application Start Processing - Jan 26th 2015
PPR Request - Jan 27th 2015
PP + 2 Pics Received by Abu dhabi office - 3rd Feb 2015

The PPR request had visa expiration date as June 15, 2015. They asked me to send Cancelled Visa and 2 Pics.

My 10 days will be up on the 16th of Feb and I have had no response from the embassy whether the pp was received or not. Not sure what I should do.

My ECAS Status still says "In Process"....should i continue to monitor this. Is it updated in real time?
