Well I don't know about the others but we cancelled our uae visa andsubmitted the passport to advo on jan 22.
Stills waiting. No news and ecas stills shows in process. which sucks since we will be overstaying srarting next week. Not sure about overstay regulation in uae either.

try to go to the canadian empassy in abu-dhabi
there is member jenpin here she was waiting like u then when she went to the empassy she found her pp was stamped few days before but for some reason they didnt send it

Believe most of them got the visa and some have landed already - the dates are just no updated or have no information

Hi Impresso, I sent my passport to VO Manila on Jan 5th and received on the 7th. I checked my Ecas and its already DM but as of this date never heard any news when I get back my passport.

Yup.. sucks I was thinking before that once u got PPR and sent it to them u won't wait that long but until now I am still waiting. I cannot book my ticket too coz I need to attend for 2 seminar/training once I get my passport back...

Congrats lonely wife..no more stress and worries now. Soon u will be with ur hubby too. Ddnt get my passport back since I have submitted it on jan 5. Hope the rest will get their PPR soon.

Yw Lonely wife. I am happy for u..do u think it will help? I cannot understand the process here in Manila. They ask me to submit my passport within 30 days from receipt of PPR dated Dec 21. But they have mentioned in the email that they will try their best effort to return my passport with visa within 90 working days. So dissappointed, I wished I ddnt resign from my work in UAE if I know things turn out this way.

Hey guyz I went to tha embassy with ma wife ...... n guess wat ?????? That was useless it's not allowed to meet any officer on duty before tha processing time on tha cic website ....... they juz gave us a form n asked to fill it with our case details and write on tha form explaining them our situation that's it !

I told you Azaan, same happened with us. we drove all the way from Dubai to abu dhabi and they didn't allow us to see any officer. ???
