Hello all.
For those who have already submitted medicals and security checks, did you do those when asked by the visa office? Or is it possible to get those done and submitted before they ask? When I talked to CIC they told me, the medicals can be done after, and there's no time saving if submitted with the application. Thinking back now, I might have made a mistake and could have saved sometime down the path, if the medicals were submitted with the application. Your comments, experiences are appreciated. Thanks.

We submitted our Medicals Ahead of time - as it was one of the requirements in the Document Checklist. Although our medicals have expired in Sep 2014 , we have yet to receive a re-medical or perhaps they may extend it on the system. Not to worry in your case, they will ask for your medicals. Just be sure to hand them in as soon as possible to avoid any delays.

May be they are doing security checks. For Pakistanis who knows how long that takes.

Thats a good point - ADVO contacts local and other agencies for security and criminality check. This is just a theory that not all agencies reply back to ADVO in a timely manner, causing more delays.
