my ECAS says "A decision has been made, The office will contact concerning this decision."
I am not sure what exactly that means "The office will contact concerning this decision" ?

We got status changed with this message next day after we received passport with visa affixed.

Ya! Just had a conversation with my lawyer as well and they had another couple who applied in August 2014 and they already recieved PPR.
He says because of the upcoming changes to the immigration policies happening in
Jan 2015, the visa offices are trying to get rid of all the backlog soon.
So gear up and start buying some winter clothes people.

Anyone here who send passport to ADVO through emirates post.? I couriered through emirates post on thursday but when I checked on tracking I'd it says .
"Customer advice to recieve mail at abu dhabi post office"

Better you visit emirates post where you dropped your passport and inquire. I assume you sent with registered mail.

Are they quickening the process? because Cic's policies are changing in January 2015? ADVO has been issuing visas pretty quick. God willing everyone hears something soooooon!!!

Hi all,

I finally got my passport back and here's my experience. I sent my PP on 20/10 and it reached the Embassy on 21/10 and the 10 working days got over on 2/11 yet I hadnt heard from ADVO so I sent an email on 6/11. And again emailed them on 9/11, 10/11, submitted a Case Specific Enquiry on 12/11 and when ASBA got a response regarding their PP on 13/11, I sent them an email again and my husband too requested the MP in Canada to enquire on 14/11. And I sent another email on 16/11 and didnt get a reply to any of my enquiries. So I personally went to the Embassy this morning at 9:30 and explained to them saying that its almost a month since I submitted my PP and I'm travelling this Thursday so they asked me to come back at 2:30 pm to collect my PP and I also received back the photographs we submitted and COPR. The visa was stamped on 6/11 and I dont know why they didnt return the PP back, but I am glad that this is all over!!

JenPin did you submit the return the airway bill and did you ask them why did they screwed up big time ?

actually this reply is seen on the top of the letter -AOR
when they sent me the AOR they said your application is in queue for review therefore in the mean time provide Additional
documents..
its just a basic line on the top the the AOR letter.. nothing else.
i sent my ADR on sept 25 but until now my ecas jus says app received in xx april 2014
im still so confused whats going on!!!

Thank you lonely wife - I never got an AOR but that does make sense. Dont know how accurate the ECAS updates are.
