Okay guys listen up!

This is what happened to us. We had sent our passport via Aramex which was received on the 27th of oct. today had been 14 working days and we sent them an urgent email to which they responded that they sent the PP back on the 3rd of nov! we had been calling aramex everyday and there was nothing under our name phone number anything. we didn't have a return awb. as soon as ADVO sent us the aramex awb we tracked it and it had been sitting in our local khobar branch since the 9th! hubby went immediately to pick it up and asked why they didn't tell us and the guy said "Wallah no one tells, everybody comes themselves!" hubby left with the passport. but now u guys can imagine that no one is trustworthy nor embassy or aramex. they will not contact you, everything is so random! Alhamdulilah so relieved!

Asba did u include the C4 envelope or something?

Congrats, for finally receiving your passport. Thats crazy of ADVO and Aramex. Yes Aramex told us also that we will have to pick it up from Aramex, they wont deliver, but how any one would go and pick up without any confirmation while on phone they always tell you nothing received. Thats too bad of ADVO that they don't bother to drop a small email telling you the tracking number.

today i send my passport to ADVO through Epost with c4.

When Aramex receive back passport from ADVO, they call you to come and pick your passport in person. They don't deliver at your address. but what to do if no one informs you that your passport has reached to aramex, neither ADVO nor Aramex, this is what has happened with ASBA till they finally got AWB from ADVO.

Nool such secrets .. I think we give them lots of prove of our genuine wedding/relation.6months skype watsapp calls log and chat record. Hotel bookings bills,pictures of every occasions events honeymoon trip.airine tickets we travelled together... but may be its all about luck....

We did the same in providing proof - plus we were blessed with a baby. I believe it is upon the investigating officer, and if he/she had a good breakfast in the morning.

Congrats ASBA - This def brings about something to worry about if neither aramex or ADVO will give you a confirmation.

This is crazy - does this happen in all GCC countries or do we have a better service for folks living in UAE. Is there anyway you can send a return aramex awb along with your passport, so ADVO can use it to send it back ?

Now, about what that Aramex guy said, it's a load of crap! It was their responsibility to call!! Aramex KSA has proven itself to be completely useless.

But Alhumdulillah, it's a matter of the past and is now time to focus on better things. Good luck!

Like ASBA said, you will get the tracking number from ADVO if you tell them you haven't gotten the passport and it's urgent.

In a scenario with no tracking number, I wonder if name and phone number would suffice? I don't know.

I'm never using aramex for personal use, that much is clear.
