Spouse sponsorship Abu Dhabi office

Hi Everyone,

I am new in this site. My husband submitted our application on December 27, 2013 in CIC Ontario application received in January 2, 2014 and we got an email of confirmation last January 31, 2014 that my husband passed the criteria to sponsor me and at the same time informing us to forward our application to their Embassy in Abud Dhabi for further processing since i am working there.

But on March 31, 2014 we have decided to quit from my job in the UAE and go back to the Philippines. Last April 24, 2014, we got an email asking for an additional requirements to comply within 45 days. I was able to sent said documents to Abu Dhabi on May 19, 2014. Until now i did not received any reply about the status of my papers.

Please anyone can help me share with their timeline? I have already done my medical last november 2013.

It's very hard to be away from my husband.

I too applied in Dec 2013 and received an email asking for additional documents in April 2014 and havent heard from ADVO since then.

Hey, I too applied in December 2013, did my meds in november 2013, and got approval in January 2014. I was requested docs in March 2014, and submitted them in April. I have not heard from ADVO since. However, on the 25th of September, 2014, a few days ago my ECAS changed to IN PROCESS. I wish you all the best, this is a hard thing, but it'll pass. Good luck to all of us.

1. Spouse sponsorship application filed on Nov 06 2013. upfront medical was done in Sept 2013.
2. Received SA on Nov 29, 2013.
3. Received AOR from Abu Dhabi on 27 Feb 2014 with ADR (asking sponsor's proof of residence in Canada). ADs submitted on April 6th, 2014.
4. ecase status changed to in process on 7th Sep 2014.
5. Today on 28th Sep 2014, received PPR for the issuance of visa, expired medicals were automatically extended for another year, and the PPR letter says visa validity will be until Sep 2015.

i have another issue that cic wrote my husband name incorrectly i hope
that will not delay the process
Its hard to live apart

My medicals will be expired by this month - I believe we will have to redo the medical at the end . CIC wrote the name wrong ? Thats interesting - hang in there, it will all be done soon .

I got an email from Abu Dhabi last April 24, 2014 with application number on it and requesting for an additional requirements and have it sent last May 19, 2014 and they received it on May 22, 2014.

Since i had that documents sent until now i did not get any reply from them. I am very much much worried about the status of my application. I don't know what to do. Please help me share with your time line.
