one thing to ask was y did u filled the AD Questionnaire if u r residing in Dubai.

Hi. My understanding is that anyone applying from abu dhabi office needs to fill out the questionnaire regardless of the place of residence.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to share with you that my husband got his visa stampped passport on May 29/14 Just a quick review to our case:
we submitted our app on June 17/13
Got a request for more docs on Sep 15/13
Status changed to in process on January 15/14
Got a 2nd medical request on Apr 9/14
Passport request on May 5/14
Submitted passport on May 12/14 (from Qatar)
Advo received passport on May 14/14

I am concerned with regards to my brother's marital status which was changed from single to married recently prior to going to canada....He already has visa and COPR....his visa will expire on Jan 2015. He tried contacting MPNP and CIC regarding his changed of marital status, but CIc has not reply yet....is there anyone here in this forum who has idea on this kind of case?thank you in advance...he currently in dubai....his processing visa office is in UAE..kindly let me know the proper steps in updating his status and the requirements

If he has already been issued the PR before informing CIC of his marital status then I think your brother will need to land in Canada and then apply for PR spouse sponsorship for his spouse. We are all in the same boat here where our spouse who already got their PR is in Canada and we are in the UAE waiting for our PR. He will need to be there and she will need to be here throughout the process as far as I know.
