Spouse sponsorship Abu Dhabi office

Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum.
I applied for PR under Spouse sponsorship in February 2013.
I have listed my timeline below. What is the general process post this stage? How much longer will it take for them to issue me the PR? I have emailed the embassy but have not heard anything from them. My ecas status still says 'Application Received'.

Visa Office......: Abu Dhabi
App. Filed.......: 02-02-2013
AOR Received.: 28-03-2013
File Transfer...: 28-03-2013
AOR for VO: 22-05-2013
Request for Additional Documents: 22-05-2013
Sent in completed documents: 29-07-2013

My husband & I were contemplating applying for a visit visa. Has anyone here applied for a visit visa while their PR application is in progress? What are the chances of me being grated the visit visa?
I have been working in Dubai with the same company since the past 2 years.

It seems that Abudhabi VO is working fast to some cases..SJK applied last February 2013 and got AOR from Abu Dhabi VO already I hope they will do the same to other cases ..

Scoobydoo my husband sent his application on January 2013 and he just got email from Abu Dhabi on august 30.I think that's AOR because it said they received his application on January 2013.I think they are working...I hope and pray they will continue working and faster ...may God bless and help us all...

loveu lets keep on praying that all of us will get visa soon..my file applied last May 2013 and still waiting for AOR from Abu Dhabi VO and we sent email inquiry already to them but got no response.

In God's perfect time I know it will come sooooon Lets stay positive always guys ! God is Great

Yes ur right God is great...soon u will get ur aor too.we wait 7 months to get my husband AOR.but every time we sent them email the always response allow time for processing and on Friday they sent my husband email saying the recieved his application on January and they will contact him if they need document,interview.I pray and hope this month will both get our PR visa.

a) what is the appropriate means of communication channel with Abu Dhabi VO. I read somewhere that hard copy communication is way better since we have proof etc. Should we mention email addresses in the forms? What are your experiences.
b)If we mention email address, shall we be receiving emails and hard copy mails both?
c) Any other relevant adivse w.r.t. email addresses.

Hi!my husband experienced,he put he's email address to the form and the Abu Dhabi visa office sent an email to him.the AOR.if you are always checking your messages in inbox and spam its better they contact you through email.depends on what you like.

I need your help!! I got requested for the passport and I submitted all requested documents correctly, however I forgot to send them a return Air way bill...I figured out this problem after 3 days and I went back to Aramex to ask them to send an air way bill..

Would that affect the return of passport time!!! how long will it take them to return my passport in this case??

Send email to immigration and let them know about your problem.for me I believe it is gonna affect the return of passport.I don't know how long but think positive.contact them through email and let them know..send them an return air way bill envelop and outside put your name and maybe put FOR RETURN PASSPORT.maybe they'll understand.
