As far as I have seen experience of senior members here, it takes anywhere between 10 to 30 days for visa stamping after PPR.faisalt said:Good Morning to everyone,

Yes even Canadian permanent residents need transit visa to pass through US. But other than US, I don't think you'll be needing a transit visa. This lufthansa/air canada flight you mentioned is a good option.bladeguard said:Guys I need your help...
Does anybody here who has an idea about the Airport Transit Visa requirement?
I am planning ahead for my trip to Canada (newly approved PR) from Saudi Arabia. I am a citizen of the Philippines..
Flight options from Saudi Arabia will be transiting any of the following airports.. France/Germany/Netherlands airports. Do I need an Airport Transit Visa to pass through?
There is also a flight that I am considering KSA-Frankfurt-Chicago-Toronto.. Does USA require a transit visa for travelers heading to Canada, holding an Immigrant or PR Visa?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you for the information.. Yes, I am considering the airlines you have mentioned.. and also British Airways or KLM, whichever has the shorter layover and reasonable fare. ;-)AWIIAK said:Yes even Canadian permanent residents need transit visa to pass through US. Not all all. Actually, it shows effort that you are trying to be together. My husband was rejected twice for TRV...he is now a PR Just be truthful in all questions...AWIIAK said:Guys, is applying for visit visa and rejection of it affects / slows down family sponsorship process in any way?
If this means you have PPR, congratulations!!! Check the ADVO timeline spreadsheet (link below in my signature)....if everyone can ensure their timelines are added, it will help everyone to know what is happening at the ADVO...JMZ said:Hello Guys,
