Just today, my wife received an email from her MP in Toronto and they forwarded the information provided by CIC regarding my application.

1. That they have found the documents (Saudi Police Clearance and a copy of my new valid passport) I sent that has allegedly lost.
2. That they have updated their system with my new valid passport and police clearance certificate.
3. That Criminality check has not yet been initiated.
4. That my security check is valid
5. That my medical exam result have been expired and they sent a correspondence for medical examination.

Thank you guys for sharing your thoughts when I was really confused what to do and for the support when I needed it the most.

I hope ADVO will continue to send good news to all of us.. now, they are really working. Thanks God!

today i checked ECAS randomly. Havent checked it in a while. under pr status it says decision made! i had checked mycic before checking ecas but nothing had changed there. currently we were in the PPR stage and my husband just sent his passport to the visa office yesterday. is that normal for ecas to show decision made before mycic?

Hi everyone, congrats for everyone who received good news! I have few questions and here is my situation:

I applied on August to sponsor my wife through ADVO, she is Iraqi citizen and I am Canadian citizen. In September our first baby came to the world and he received the Canadian passport from the Consulate in Dubai.

1) I wondering if the born of my child will make the processing of the application faster? Also,
2) I sent a copy of my child's birth certificate along with the approval letter to the embassy in AD but how to make sure the received it or not.
3) We hope to receive PPR before Christmas 8) you guys think it could happen with my situation?

am sorry guys but is matter of frustration i've been thru now ... now i applied in January 2016 and they returned my file for silly signature was missing for the family info and it was extra paper coz the first one was filled out so it was really silly. then i sent the application again in February.

They thankfully got back to me in march and the file has transferred in march to ADVO. Quebec CSQ has been issued in April and was sent directly to them from Quebec government.

After six months i sent which was Oct 14 i have sent on Case Specific inquiry link to ask about the progress. They got back to me On Oct 16 Saying send the CSQ again we did not receive it and they sent to my Husband asking him to send his country Police Certificate.

Up till this moment they did not started the background check which takes the most time.

I need to know within the six month what the hell they were doing ? why some F applications go faster than others ? However our documents are complete ?

why they did not contact Quebec government if they didnt receive the CSQ ? which means that they dont study the file properly coz they did not check where the sponsor is living and what the requirement for that ?

Now should i expect 6 months more for the background check ? however some people they finish there case in less than 6 months ?

this is wasting time and life for ridiculous ... am sooooo mad and frustrated

TORONTO134 they don't tell the reason why they rejected my visa and I apply the online now we submit the online paper in UAE website can some one tell me what is the next process because some peoples telling they reschedule the interview and some said refused your application I don't understand what I do I already send to email when they rejected my UAE visa but still no reply from the abu dhabi side just I am waiting .
