Just going through all your comments makes me feel so much better, I have been reading for a long time but recently opened an account. I wanted to thank you all for updating this forum and caring for every one else out there!

my visa will also expire on 03.05.2013 so i should pack my bag and ticket ready .. lol

i am soo excited to read your comments .. all of a sudden everyone gets charge here Masha Allah that shows how despread we people are to go CANDA .. including me.. lol

i am also expecting an email but did not receive yet .. it took 4 months after submission of additional documents.. isnt' i am holding pakistnai passport\?? will it be matter?
as per general timeline here..i should have recieved an email for passport request in Feb 13. however i did not receive it yet ...
Ebsoon and seeyou.. can you share your timeline once again and your nationality??

Earlier in this forum, I think it's Dominica, she said that visa depends on the validity of medical. On the letter that we received from visa office, it says that the visa that they will issue for my husband is valid until June11/13 only which is actually the same as the expiration of his medical.. Seems Dominica's statement is correct... My husband has to come to Canada before June11.

my husband's medical done last year in September 19, 2012 is it valid for one year? if its valid for year, according to you snowman they will send us PPR in June 19, 2013 IN SHA ALLAH. I am leaving for canada next month alone I am planing to come back in june please suggest me should I wait there or come back in june if they issue visa in june IN SHA ALLAH no point to come back, I am so confuse & stuck ???

He got his PR before we got married.

- Filed in the application for spousal sponsorship on Oct 18th 2012
(took us around 3.5 months to collect the required documents).
- Got sponsorship approval on Jan 30th, 2013 from Mississauga.
- File forwarded to AUH VO on the 3rd of Feb 2013.

Waiting patiently...

Done welcome to step 3 but why is so late? mostly people who applied in july 2012 they got their PPR and what document request you got? share with us plz did you get by mail or email?

my husband got email they needed additional famil info document and use of representive (we didn't fill that one) and they need proof that I am residing canada and my hubby's police clearance again
I really hope this nightmare is over soon

IN SHA ALLAH it will done soon yeah they ask from my husband for my gulf permit cancelation as well even I hired representative when I applied still they ask me I am in KSA since july 2012 and now I have to go back for this stupid rule I really dont understand I am here on visit visa bases and after 9 month or 12 months it will expire anyways what is the point they need visit visa cancelation just wana give us headache thats all. Now am leaving KSA for one month then my husband wants me to come back in june.
