Vancouver:)
You're lucky!! Nice beautiful Vancouver. Enjoy.

Hello all. Has anyone here obtained a police certificate from Kuwait recently? Just curious to know how long it will take. My wife was told 1 week. But we all know 1 week in the middle East doesn't necessarily mean 1 week!!! Thanks in advance.

dont know about kuwait but in uae required 3 working days for PCC through online and same days if you go personally.

Just want to encourage everyone who has applied in 2015 to add their info to the 2015 outland timeline (link below in my signature). It would be great to get all the ADVO people on there.

I went to a legal translator in Dubai and gave them our original that hsd some attestations to translate. When they do the translation they affix a photocopy of the original in such a way that you can tell if it was removed. They also stamp it and sign it.

I had gone thru CIC requirements in terms of getting a notary public and "certified true copy of" but the translator will only stamp their qualification etc even tho I tried to convince them to write on it that they certify the attached copy is true (all they are doing is confirming they copied an original document) but they don't get it.

So I sent an electronic scan of the translated doc to ADVO to see if it met their translation requirements and they said that it did. I can't guarantee this for anyone but this was my experience.

I don't think it's required...I can't remember why we did it. But it was easy to do for a fee at MOFA in Bur Dubai. We didn't bother with Canadian attestation.

Thanks. Not complaining by any means, but I've already purchased my ticket in August for a trip end of September and made arrangements with work, etc.. Coming back to Canada October 16th. We'll be waiting nervously and praying to get things done in time, so my wife can come back with me.. Feels like running a marathon, we're almost at the finish line, but feel exhausted!

Hi everyone,

Thank you Haldashti for taking care of the spreadsheet and us! I have volunteered to take over the spreadsheet.

I have changed the settings so that anyone with the link can edit it. This means you can add / update your own timeline information. My experience in the past with shared spreadsheets is that the risk is low for doing this and Googlesheets allows any edits to be reversed. I will be checking the sheet regularly to make sure everything is okay. If you need help with putting your information there, just let me know and I will walk you through it.

I strongly encourage everyone to add themselves / update their information on the spreadsheet as it helps all of us and give us encouragement :).
I also still strongly recommend that you add yourself / update your info to the annual spreadsheet for your application year (i.e. 2015).

May we all be granted patience from Allah / God as we make our journey to Canada.

Have a great day everyone!
