Dear All
This is very useful thread and since I am applying for my wife who is based in Dubai but is a pakistan national,
I have gotten the requirement down and I will be applying from Canada as an outland applicant
- Marriage Certificate (Translated by appointed personal if in Arabic )
- Wedding Invitation Cards and Greeting sent my relatives and family members
- Email Communication between you and your wife
- Call History via phone or skype
- Chat Log between you and your wife from facebook/skype/whatsapp/viber/bbm/
- Pictures ( Focus on group pictures with friends and family, wedding , engagement, reception etc etc
- Hotel Bookings Receipt if any where you stayed together
- Air Flight Tickets ( proof of travelling together ) and boarding passed, also including future booking plans
- Money Transfer Receipts ( showing proof of support )
- Joint Bank Accounts if any
- Gift Receipts purchased for each other
- Dates and Places visited together.
Now My question is do I need to do her Police clearance and medical now or it can be done later on when the file is transfered to AUH office ?
Also what is the typical time line I can expect from AUH office?
If it will take longer can she apply for the visit visa in the mean time while her application is being processed ?
Cheers
Hello aarrow, welcome to the forum.
The list you have mentioned seems good. We applied with almost same docs. As for your questions, yes you should do the medical upfront and police report right now, this will help process your case faster without vo having to ask for docs later on. My personal experience which worked in our case was to submit as much as possible supporting docs in the beginning.
Timeline is varied in all cases. Best scenario is 6 to 8 months. Well mostly visit visas for spouses are rejected but you can always give it a try.
Best of luck bro.
