Hi, did you send the requested documents yet? and what date did you send them?

That's good that's in process, I had a document request in December, sent everything in January, and it still says medical results received and
application received.... I don't know how much time it takes after it changes to "in process" since each case is different and people have had different experiences...... But I think its definitively a good sign that its changed to "in process"...

How much time it will take normally after Ecas changed to "IN PROCESS". mine was changed last week to "IN Process"

Hi, Sometimes they send medical requests through the mail or other letters but document request is usually through e-mail,,,, what letter did they say they were going to send to you in the mail????. I've never received any mail from them accept for the approval letter from CIC Mississauga... There is no contact number for the abu dhabi embassy, and even if there is, you wont be able to talk to an immigration officer dealing with your file like that... that's why sometimes people go to their MP's for help because its not that easy...... They probably haven't even started processing your file yet so even if you go to the MP (your member of parliament) right now there will be no notes on your file because the immigration officer hasn't reviewed your file yet, hence that is why you haven't received an AOR yet,,,, so its too early to worry...

I hired represented in canada CIC & abu dhabi sent email all my letter in his mailing address even last email they they sent it was on his email ID and abu dhabi visa office clearly mention ur file is in process ur family class is 6 to 12 months send police certificate once u will get letter request from us in ur mail

- Proof that your Canadian Citizen sponsor is currently residing in Canada or will reside in Canada when you become a permanent resident. If your sponsor is currently residing in Canada, please provide copies of Canadian tax documents (Notice of Assessment (NOA), T1 and T4); three (3) recent pay stubs and any other document which proves that your sponsor is living in Canada. If your sponsor is currently residing outside of Canada, we will require satisfactory evidence that they will reside in Canada once you become a permanent resident. Satisfactory evidence would include: copy of cancelled residency permit (in the Gulf); copy of resignation letter showing that it has been accepted by your sponsor's employer; evidence that "end of contract" benefits have been paid; and so on. This will be required before a permanent resident visa can be issued. If your sponsor does not believe that they will be ready to move to Canada when your permanent resident visa is issued, then you may wish to consider withdrawing this current application. Your spouse could then submit a new sponsorship when they are prepared to move to Canada.

- A copy of your ORIGINAL marriage certificate. If this document is written in a language other than English or French it must be translated in English or French by a professional translator. The copy of the original document must be attached with the professional translation.

Did you find out your E-CAS status from your lawyer... if you are "in process" or not?? The reason why I am asking is because we have the same timelines and also cuz my document request was also December 4th and transferring file to Abu dhabi was also Sep 20th, around the same as yours.,,,

I just checked my E-CAS and they updated my mailing address I had sent them,, but under status it still says "application received" and "medical results received"

Anyone have any experience with this,, and still not "in process"
