I agree with u mohammad azaan, impresso is so cool and never stop encouraging us to patiently. No changes on my ecas still application received. Always praying that we will get PPR this month.

here i am facing an issue with the sponsor form filling, APPLICATION TO SPONSOR, SPONSOR AGREEMENT AND UNDERTAKING IMM1344

it requires both signatures, sponsor and applicant.
so shall my sponsor type this form and validate then print out and sign. but how do i sign on this form. is it acceptable if he scan and send me and then after my signatures i send him scan copy.??

please help!!

Please read the guide,it says original forms, so you need to do a bit of courier service to and fro. either of you can complete and validate the forms and send the PDF to other to print and sign, then the signed original needs to be couriered to the other person to sign. Sponsor will be the one to submit completed and signed forms here in Canada. so better if Applicant signs and courier to sponsor.

I rcvd call from Aramex for the passport collection.but due to bsy schedule i couldn't collect it yet. Hopefully will tomorrow In sha Allah.

You do not need to fill any forms for the belonging you are bringing in. for any belonging you are planning to bring later after your landing you will be provided an opportunity to declare all those items, which custom officer will mention in a form and will hand you over, so that you may bring those items tax free within one year of your landing .

Hello Bonty - one of my friend's who waited for almost 2 and half years got their PPR and are preparing for landing in December. Their lawyer has advised them of such a form where the items are written down which are intended to be brought into the country. I shall get more clarification on this later on.

Hello zbaby - Welcome to the forum, this is a little tricky as you will have to submit original form, and both the Sponsor and applicant have to sign. In our case I (sponsor ) filled in all the forms, signed and marked the places where my wife (applicant) needs to sign. I then sent the forms via DHL to her in Dubai , she signed them and sent them back via (DHL ).

It helps if you know someone travelling back and forth , then you can give them the forms and hopfully save some money on DHL. All the best.

Hello igay - thank you for the kind words - we all need to get through to this together insha'Allah . Your case is very interesting that your status hasn't changed yet, but then again we can't rely much on ECAS. Have you ordered any notes in the past ?

guys 1 more question; apart from checklist do i need to prepare cover letter as well? if yes please guide me the outline, format Dos & Don'ts

We did a simple cover letter , I dont have the copy with me in my email but let me dig it out for me by tomorrow. Basically it addresses to the Immigration Officer and highlights about the case. There are more than one way to write one up, so a little research wouldn't hurt.

Dear All,

For those preparing to land, you can go through the following page on the CIC website which is very informative:

And if you click on "what to expect in the first few days" in the above link, it will direct you to another page which gives a detailed explanation of landing in Canada.

I filled in 2 forms as follows:

1. For monetary instruments more than CAD 10,000 (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/e677-eng.html)
2. For valuable personal belongings (http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b4-eng.html) - Have a separate list detailing all the items you will be bringing to Canada and categorise them as Electronics, Furniture, Jewelry, etc so you can mention the same on the form. For all valuables, it is advised to have a photograph of them so that these wont be taxed in the future. You also need to have 2 copies of this form and attachment (if any) as one copy will be retained by the customs and one will be returned to you which you will need to present if you are bringing goods into Canada later (goods to follow).


If you have all the documents filled in, the process shouldnt take more than an hour.

sorry guys for bothering you continuously. i think i have done a blunder, in my forms i mentioned my sponsor name incomplete like i mentioned given name and family name but not the middle name.
is it going to be an issue??
