Hey Impresso, we were about to but then we decided to wait because no one else has had an update. When someone is significantly updated we will apply for them.Impresso said:Hello ASBA , have you applied for any notes for your case ?

Hello j3poy - welcome to the Forum. Is your visa office Abu Dhabi ?j3poy said:hi! i'm new in this forum. My wife is living in Manitoba we got married last year. She applied for the sponsor assessment last December 2013 and until now no response from them.
How long does it usually take to get the result of the sponsor assessment?
thanks
I am actually astonished that it is taking this long even after requesting for ADR - Usually what I have seen from the previous timeline it is about 3-4 Months to see " In Progress" update on ECAS. I am guessing things have slowed down a little.ASBA said:Hey Impresso, we were about to but then we decided to wait because no one else has had an update. Hi ZZW,ZZW said:Ok Guys can somebody help me with this...
There is this question No.8 in residency questionnaire (FC1/FCC/FCE) Embassy of canada,Abu Dhabi
WILL YOU, the principal applicant, cancel your Gulf residence visa?
a) Yes- if yes, when _____
b) No- if no, please why not?
Well now I dont want to cancel the visa as my family my parents they reside here in KSA riyadh and though I will shift to canada as soon as they will stamp the visa but I plan to keep visiting my parents off n on. I am confused now :/ as what to answer for this question.will answering NO will put a question mark on my application...and if I go with YES what month and year to mention? Please if someone can help
Thank u
Thank u JenPin...our resident permit expires in aug 2015. .I think giving that date will justify our intention. .lets see..I will keep u all postedJenPin said:Hi ZZW,
I am not sure what impact the answer to this question shall have. I answered that I would cancel my Gulf residence visa in August 2014 as I assumed the average processing time to be 8 months however I havent heard from ADVO since April 2014 that is when I submitted the additional documents requested. You should be roughly having an idea as to when you want to move to Canada and I guess you could mention that.
I hope others may reply to your query to give you a clear picture.
You'd think by now our requests would have come!? But its looking like it'll take another 2-3 months and then the whole process of doing the medical again and whatsoever!!! :'(JenPin said:I seriously dont know. :'(
I know!! I was looking forward to getting a PPR this month! :-[ :'(ASBA said:You'd think by now our requests would have come!? But its looking like it'll take another 2-3 months and then the whole process of doing the medical again and whatsoever!!! :'(
The questions seems like a double edge sword - If you answer 'No', you will have to state your intentions and provide supporting documents, Basically trying to convince and state your intention on residing in Canada. If you answer 'Yes' it just gives them an estimation but it puts your plans of visiting your folks at a pause.ZZW said:Ok Guys can somebody help me with this...
