Hello,
I have two questions related to the spouse visa application:

1. I am applying for a spouse visa, and I am a sponsored person, but I have one back paper (course completion in October 2022). Will this affect my spouse visa application?

2. What should I mention in my work history? I worked for an Indian company for only 8 months (from March 2023 to November 2023), but I don't have an experience letter or pay stubs. What should I include in that section?

should I mention my work history in the application? Is it a problem if I don’t mention this work? Can I mention that I have been preparing for a state exam ?(Since November 2023, I have been preparing for a state exam.)

Will this affect my visa application?

Please guide me well
Thank You

Tell the truth on all these things. Education and work experience are irrelevant for a spousal sponsorship, BUT TELLING THE TRUTH IS RELEVANT.

If they do not ask for proof of education or work experience (like pay stubs or experience letter), then do not submit them. Put differently: do not worry about not having documents that they do not ask for. Since educaton and work experience not directly relevant, no, they will not affect your spousal sponsorship.

The fact they do not require paper proof does not absolve you of responsibility to tell the truth about education and work experience (and indeed, other things.)

Since you reply to a post in the family class sponsorship section, I assume that you are being sponsored by your spouse to receive PR.

In that case, IRCC does not ask for proof of education or work experience.

You don't need to show how good you are at your work or education. Just put down the TRUTH.
And when you are not in school or have active job, the time can be listed as unemployed and it will NOT affect you being sponsored as a spouse.

So just be trueful.

Hello guys,
I applied spousal PR application three weeks back and i got reply saying,
"We are returning your Permanent Resident Portal application received on 2024-11-15. We are unable
to process your request as submitted. We have kept no record of your submission.
Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides In
Canada. It appears that as per your information declared on your undertaking you have sent your
application to our office in error as per document(s) reviewed below:

• Document Checklist
• IMM1344
• IMM008
• IMM5669
• IMM5406"

I got to know that we need to verify and update the detail we entered during portal creation, I tried to check in my portal but there is no option available to verify and update, is there any otherway that I can check if not what is the solution for this? can anyone please guide me on this?

If the application got returned yes you can go back on the forms and edit. Click on each form and edit .. make sure you go through reach form and leave no blanks. Make sure for document checklist is the most recent updated version you have . Every form you’re going to upload make sure it’s the most updated form.

Yes , anything you already in put is already saved .. but just make sure you don’t leave any blanks and fill everything . But you can go back and edit and save as well before you resubmit your application

But there is no option showing in the portal, can you please guide me?
When you sign in your portal do you see your application? Click it, you will see all your forms and everything you have submitted .. click on each form they asked you to resubmit, just focus on those.. you can also see them on your right side panel .. eg IMM008, click it, which ever one you can edit, edit, if you need to download a new form delete the old one and upload new..

No, you are not understanding. The problem is the details i entered in all those documents are correct. whereas, I believe during profile creation in portal I may mistakenly entered or chose the inland application as "spouse or common law partner in canada class" instead of "family class (outside canada)". I cant access that option now, is there any way i can do that?
