Guys a very bad news processing time from india is now 9 months I just check it

That is 9 weeks not 9 months.Check it again

I applied online SOWP on 2nd Feb 2k16. I got update On 29 May . The status of medical changed not needed to review in progress .. I hope get good news soon .

i applied sowp on February 23 and they passed medical on may 29. After that I haven't got any update till date. It will be 4 months on this june 23. Do anybody know how long it takes after medical get passed?

I have a question and I am hoping anyone in this forum can help me with it.

My wife has an open work permit and she is a "non-accompanying dependent" in my permanent resident application. Non-accompanying dependent means she won't be getting PR and I will sponsor her inland when I get PR.

My question is, does her Open Work Permit gets cancelled when I get my PR ? (considering my work permit won't be valid anymore when I become PR and Spouse Open work permit is sort of attached with my work permit).

She can work till her status as a worker is valid !! But she has o go back country of Origin.....Also you can not sponsor Inland unless and untill she have valid status to stay...

Also please go through Pilot program ...that might help !!

I just heard on automated message on CIC Toll free... It says they processing application made on or before 6th may... and processing time it says 20 days... Hopefully everybody hear good news soon,

I just checked on toll free... it says 20 days for online and as i mentioned it says processing on or before 6th may Application for Online... For papaer based it says some date of February.

Did you check with CIC why they taking so long you are almost about to have three months on your calender.... I re applied ... First time we got rejection and it was with in two months... because of my mistake ...

I am expecting approval in two months now ...
