Can someone help me as I am apply for SOWP for my wife by myself. Right now i am on student visa and my wife is in India so I have doubts about the application help will be really appreciated.

My clarification for #1 I am in Canada for 1 year and recently got married in my home country and right now I am in Canada.

My clarification for #2 I have created a new GCKEY for my wife and applying from her portal.


Doubts in Medical Upfront OR Should I wait for IRCC to request for medical ??

#1 What to bring to the Hospital ? I know we have to book a appointment with hospital and have to bring our passport and 1 additional IDs. Is there anything else we need to bring to the hospital ??

#1 Do we have to upload Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary resident Visa Made Outside of Canada (IMM 5257). YES OR NO ????

Doubts with Enrollment letter

#1 Right now my semester is off and I do not have enrollment letter so is that okay applying without that as well however I have attached the college Transcripts.

The Answer is "No" if they are travelling to Canada without you, "Yes" if you are going and bringing them

Just Passport and other ID is enough if you are taking upfront medical (Taking medical before submitting the application). If not, your wife must carry the medical request letter from IRCC

"Yes" since you submitting your application using your wife GCKey and she is outside Canada

In the GCKEY portal where should we upload proof of relationship I see most people have that option separately showing in their portal but that can only be shown if we are going to answer YES for #2 Doubt that I mentioned above.

Do I have to notarize any document from Canada like invitation letter or any other document ?

Do we have to upload the document checklist for Canada and my home country as well after marking tick box ?
