no i cant work..
but my employer is applying for LMIA for me so i am staying here and i will apply for visitor record before May 25.

but my question is can i go back and get married and my wife will get study permit and i will apply for work permit..or i stay here on visitor and she can come here and then i will apply for spousal open work permit.

which will be better.?

i have one year canadian experience in NOC b job

Applied for Spouse open work permit- March 17th.
Got Medical request- April 27th.
Medical done - May 6th. No reply after medicals.

Its been almost 15th days since medicals. No response concerning medical or Passport request.
Is there any thing I need to worry about? Any idea what is taking so long now?

hi we applied with medical on . Medical passed on 8 March no update still

I also applied sowp online application in canada on april 28 without medical. But did nt get any updates after 22 days. I dont have any access on mycic., my consultancy is doing it. Any one have same time line please reply.

Medical done : 16th May

I already created profile on Express entry but my points are 370. So i dont know how long it takes to reach this point by express entry. To keep my work permit runnin i am thinking about go india and get marry and apply for SOWP from india. but i am right now on visitor in canada and dont know what to do and waiting for LMIA.

Hi! My husband holds a post graduation work permit and hi has a job NOC B, he is working 40 hours every week, but the employer wrote in the job letter that he is a part time employee. I applied to extend my open work permit. Is there any problem if the letter says part time? Thank you

if you work more than 30 hrs per week that means it's a full time job not a partime I think the case officer will consider it.

Did anyone get the $100 refund of open work permit fee (spousal) for application refusal (I did it online and paid with credit card)?
Their website is saying that you don't need to do anything, but it has been almost a month

Sad news.my wife application for sowp was denied.. reason is purpose of visit and familt ties in home country and in canada. Anybody has the same situation?And what did you do next? Thx
