Hello Guys.
I'm a recent graduate from post secondary school and preparing to apply for PGWP.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a job yet so steel seeking of it.
What I'm wondering is that whether I'm able to apply my wife's Open Work Permit without the documents of my job such as, pay stubs and job contract. Of course, I know these documents are required to apply for
spouse open work permit but I heard some people got spouse's open work permit without these documents. They just tried to applying with a letter of explanation why their spouse needs a work permit and then got it. My wife's current work permit will be expired soon and we really need an extension of her open work permit. So if you guys have had any experiences about this please let me listen your story.

1. No, your spouse is not eligible for a SOWP until you obtain a job in NOC A, B or O and have at least one pay stub and a copy of your job description. S/he will have to apply for an extension as a visitor.

Her open work permit extension is guaranteed to be refused unless you have a job that meets the requirements PMM listed above.

One option is for her to change her status to visitor and stop working. The other option is for her employer to obtain an approved LMIA so that she can apply for a closed work permit.

Hi

Hi... As per CIC, if someone who is currently on PGWP, is applying for Open Work Permit for his/her spouse, then the former needs to produce a letter from employer stating that he/she is working under a job category which falls under NOC 0/A/B (or else contract).
I am planning to get such letter.
Does anyone know what I should get written from the employer? It will be great if someone can share a sample letter for reference.

Thanks
