if you can describe me what documents you put up with your application then it will be easy for me to check on my documents whether i am applying with correct documents or not
These are the documents I attached
For proof of relationship - Marriage certificate, son’s birth certificate, son’s birth document (which says son of so and so), my passport bio page (it has my husband’s name). I didn’t attach photos but you can if you want to.
In client info - SOP, My Visa stamp, My POE letter, my university LOA, husband’s work and education documents and two pay slips, sponsor’s letter (my dad), and bank statements.

Also, not stamped yet because Melbourne VAC is closed. Decision has been made on the same day i got biometrics correspondence letter but passport request is on hold till VAC opens.

@Rayfah also i would be great if you share your timelines.

Hey, Can I ask you why did you submit Police clearance certificate so late? also, you applied from India?

Couldn’t get the PCC due to the lockdown. Process was very slow. Applied from Australia.
Thanks for the quick response. Just one more question, what was the average processing time when you applied or when it was in process?

Hello members, can you please resolve my two questions.

1) Can SOWP holder work in any province across Canada or she has to work in the same province where her spouse is studying? Like I am studying in Ontario but my spouse who would be SOWP wants to work in Manitoba. Is that possible.?

2)Is their any time limit under which we are suppose to travel to Canada after getting our SOWP approved? My spouse is applying for his SOWP now but he intends to travel after six months.

Hi all

I applied SOWP on July 20 Without my spouse visa stamping on passport because she has a valid work permit up to 2022 but got the visa last week with stamping..

So how can I upload the spouse’s visa stamping copy now!? Is there any option on portal or need to send it through web form!? Plz help me

I applied for my spouse and son with POE letter (May intake), I am also still in my home country. Visa was approved when I applied GCMS notes. Don’t give up!

They will still need special permission to enter Canada due to travel restrictions.

Yes we do not want to travel until the conditions are better. Next semester is online, so hopefully travel is not required before winter semester.
