I had applied for my spouse Canadian Immigration last year from Canada and the case went to UK. I have twins who are Canadian Citizens as they were born in Pakistan. I had applied for their Citizenship proof Certificates which Islamabad Consulate informed us that they got the certificates and in the que to mail out. We will be applying for their Temporary Canadian Passports through Islamabad but we have to submit their paid tickets with the passport applications where Islamabad will take 10 days to issue their passports. UK and Islamabad Consulates both are aware of this that we will need our children passports to travel to Canada with my wife once she will get her immigration visa.
My wife had her first medical done last September 2014, I received an email on August 28 from Delhi Medical office that she had to go for another medical assessment as first one was expired. She had her second medical assessment completed on Sept 8th 2015. Then I received a letter from UK Consulate on September 17th 2015, that she must submit her passport and another form within 30 days of the letter dated, which means we had 30 days from Sept 17. She submitted her passport on 21st of September through vfs global Khi and they sent a confirmation that passport was sent to Islamabad on 23 of Sept. On Sept 28 at 7 pm she received a call from vfs global khi office that her passport has arrived and ready for collection. She went to collect on Sept 29 2015.
Now, he visa was issued on Sept 4 2015 and expiry date is Oct 2 2015. How can they give 2 days to her to prepare and get the flight and get to Canada on Oct 2. I have emailed UK and Islamabad Consulates. I have talked to CIC office in Ontario. We can even get any seats from Khi to Canada with such a short notice.
I would like to know, what are our options now because in the letter it says clearly that if she doesn't arrive Canada on Oct 2 then I have to reapply and pay fees again. I don't understand why did they issue the visa on sept 4 when they sent a letter to submit her passport on 17th. How can they give anyone only 3 days to arrive in Canada when she has 2 years age of twins.
