to CPC-M..but i am worried coz there's ongoing rally in winnipeg post office...how will i know if CPC-M receive it or there'll be
delays ...and how long the delays..hope not!!!

Continuation of B: To renew or apply for passport at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) certificate from Seminar B is required

To avoid delay of visa processing, make sure all fees were paid, and all documents were submited.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). If this fee is not paid with the application, Canadian Embassy Manila will first contact you to send you a letter to tell you to pay. The letter goes to the person being sponsored but the fees have to be paid by the sponsor themselves. You then pay your fees online or at a bank and have to send the proof to CPC-Missassauga. Then CPC-M sends notice to the CEM that it was paid.
It takes time to get back to you to tell that the fees are paid. So it does slow down the process quite a bit. Failure to pay the fee at the time of submission of the application will result in a minimum additional two-month delay in the finalization of the application according to http://www.cnn1.net/pdf_forms/3900E.pdf

Additional documents usually requested by the embassy:
1. AOM (Advisory on Marriage) from NSO- different from Marriage Certificate; should be submitted at CPC-Missassauga together with other required documents at Country Specific Instructions-Philippines http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf
2. Divorce Petition- different from Divorce Certificate; usually requested from Filipino sponsors who are divorced based on experiences of posters in this forum. (For natural-born Canadian sponsors who are divorced, seems that they don't ask from you, but pls confirm at CEM)
3. Appendix A- or Additional Family Information; though submitted previously, they will still ask a copy; the letter usually comes with the AOR/PPR
4. Detailed statement of relationship with the EX (notarized)- for sponsored person with a child from their ex. Sometimes you are required to submit: Ex's I.D, a notarized letter stating the ex allows the child to be sponsored, or other document asked by the visa officer.

Twi_light, sa pagkaka-alam ko,tapos na ang strike ng mga postal workers ng Canada,I haven't heard from the local news of anything to the contrary. They were forced to go back to work via a legislation 2 weeks ago.....but due to the backlog of mails and that legislation stating that postal workers can only work so much hours......there might be delays in the distribution and delivery of letters,etc. I take that you haven't received ANY letter from CIC (manila or from Canada) ? Wala rin bang natanggap ang hubby mo from CIC? They (CIC) would first send a letter to your hubby stating that He has been approved to sponsor you. And then to you,stating you are being sponsored by your hubby and other infos/documents they may further need from you. If they have,the letter contains a client ID number so you can track your applications status via eCAS. Lately I have been reading stuff about CAIPS_Notes,not sure what it is though.....

I suggest you ask your husband who his MP is. He should know since he voted for him/her. As others have mentioned here and on other threads,MPs cannot speed up your application but can only follow up in your behalf IF your application is taking longer than the timeframe posted on CIC website (for spousal sponsorship in the Philippines = 9 months).

supposedly di na re-apply yan.. buy u have to let the embassy know na dito ka manganak pra in that case e magawan ng paraan un landing date mo..
pero mas ok cguro na kung may visa kna at may time kpa, go kna dun at un kna manganak.

Yes! you have to apply first..yung application kit na sa-submit mo sa CIC-M kasama na dun application hubby mo..if you are qualified to sponsor CIM will send you a letter of DM...then they will forward your hubby's application here in Manila

i suggest to go to Canada the soonest. Ang Validity ng VISA is based sa MEDICAL EXPIRATION DATE. kapag dito ka manganganak mas magtatagal ka pa maka-aalis kase pati yung new born baby mo kailangan idocument mo pa. kung nasa CANADA ka na, automatically CANADIAN BORN CITIZEN na sya including sa documentations and PASSPORT. youve gone this far kaya take a chance on it =)
