Hello Pilipino, 1. in the Additional Family Information (IMM5406) section C, ilagay mo lahat ng brothers & sisters mo. No need na pumirma pa ang mga brothers & sisters mo. ikaw na an pumirma sa Section D Certification. if di kasya photocopy mo muna ng blank form then continue additional sheet sa Section C lang.
2. Sa Appendix A naman di na kailangan ilagay ang Spouse/Commmon Law partner. ikaw ang sa Applicant and Child1 and so on if there is child. then ikaw ang magsignature sa Original Signature of Principal Applicant and the date.
Lastly: Photocopy ka muna ng Blank form before ka mag-fill up kasi if incase amy mistake mayroon kang Blank Form.

hi all! ;)

i came across this faq at www.canadainternational.ga.ca and i found it very helpful sa mga may situation tulad ng sakin which is pregnant and in dilemma if ever man ma-issue ang visa ko e 1 month nalang due ko na. ang dilemma is about sa di macocover ng healthcard sa ontario yung delivery and hospital expenses since after 3 months pa before ma-cover ng OHIP ang new immigrants. here's a good option for us.

I have already submitted an application for permanent residence, and my spouse just had a baby. What should I do?

If your child was born in Canada or if one of its parents is a Canadian citizen, the child is therefore a Canadian citizen. If that is the case, you do not need to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send us a copy of his or her birth certificate. You should contact the Consular Section of the Embassy for information on obtaining citizenship and a Canadian passport for the child.

If the child was not born in Canada or if one of its parents is not a Canadian citizen, you must add the child to your application by sending us a copy of the birth certificate and the required number of photos. Your child will have to undergo a medical examination; we will provide the necessary forms after your child is added to the application. If the child is accompanying you to Canada, you will also have to pay the required fees and obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) in his or her name if your province of destination is Quebec. If you have submitted a Simplified Application, please wait to inform us at the time we request the supporting documents.

Note: Any current family member not examined as part of your application can NEVER be sponsored by you as a member of the Family Class in the future. Misrepresenting or withholding information would render you inadmissible to Canada.

hope it helps din sa mga ibang may same case as mine.

cheers! ;)

hello po sa lahat..bago lang ako dito.my tanung lang po ako at sna meron sa inyo ang my alam ng sagot.

under ako ng spousal sponsorship category pero same sex po kame.kinasal kame sa canada. on process na po ung papers ko dito sa pinas.ang passport kong hawak ngaun is ung green pa at sa sept 2012 pa mag expire. so ngaun hinihintay ko kung magrequest sila sa akin ng bago at ung maroon na passport. paano pag kumuha ako ng bagong passport ano ang ilalagay kong marital status ko?alam ko kasi na hindi legal ang kasal namin sa pinas kaya hnd ako sigurado kong single or married ba ang ilalagay ko?tska pag ngchange ba ng marital status kelangan pa ba ng original marriage certificate or pwede na ba ung certified thru copy? hindi ako ngchange ng last name ko to married name..same last name pa rin ang gamiy ko ngaun at ang nsa application ko for permanent resident.

sana my nakakalam sa inyo ng sagot....
Single pa rin dapat ilagay mo sa application mo for Philippine Passport renewal since hindi recognize dito sa Pinas ang same-sex marriage. The point here is your status quo as single is just for your application of Passport renewal. It will not affect your spousal application.

hi all! baka po meron nakakaalam, pa-confirm naman po. nabasa ko kasi sa ibang thread 'to:

After landing, if you already know your address in Canada, give it to the Immigration Officer (IO), so that your PR cards will be forwarded to that address.

When you receive your PR cards, you have fully become PRs of Canada, and you are not considered as applicants anymore and so you can always travel out of Canada.

As long as you have your PR cards you can travel in and out of Canada at anytime but REMEMBER that in order to maintain your residency obligation, you must have been physically present in Canada for a total of 730 days out of a 5 year period.

ibig sabihin po ba nito, right after mo mag land, after mo makuha PR card mo e pwede ka din lumabas ng canada ulet basta babalik ka din kagad para mafulfill yung 730 days out of a 5yr period? or kelangan ba pag land mo mafulfill mo muna ang 730 days before ka pwede lumabas ulit ng canada?

thanks po sa sasagot.. mejo na-confused lang ako. :D

hi victoria! ur hubby's probably a citizen na. my hubby's PR pa lng eh. :D so dilemma ko talaga ngayon ang dapat gawin kasi nga EDD ko is aug25. kaka-DM pa lng ng sponsor ko last april6. so kahit ma-issue ang visa ko around 1st week ng july at lumipad ako kagad, ang prob ko naman e yung OHIP na magcover sa delivery and hospital expenses ko.

pero anyway, i've read some threads na din regarding sa ganitong situation. thank god may mga nakita akong helpful thread! :D

pag may PR card ka na pwede ka na lumabas ng Canada pero make sure na macomplete mo ung 730 days (halos 3 year na stay mo sa Canada) kase kapag ikaw kinulang ng 1 day lang kahit one day lang babalik ka ng pinas and apply ka ulit. basta macomplete mo ung 730 days and pwede ka labas pasok ng Canada.

Hi Kjneo...Sa pagkakaintindi ko once you are a PR and land you can go in and out of Canada. Hindi counted yung bilang pag nasa labas ka ng Canada. To fulfill your obligation kailangan mong mgstay sa Canada ng 730 days (Equivalent yata ng more than 2 yrs) within the 5 year period. Correct me if I'm wrong dun sa mga nakakaalam.

Yung friend ng daughter ko got her PR and land in Canada. After a month of stay she came back here sa pinas and after a month din bumalik sa Canada. Nakalimutan nyang dalhin yung PR card nya papunta d2 sa Pinas. What she did she requested a visa sa CEM going back to Canada which was granted naman kasi PR na siya.

:'( tatawag pa si hubby sa OHIP para ma-confirm if registered ako as dependent nya e i could use his ohip card to cover for the expenses. if not, magtatanong tanong pa sya sa mga kakilala nyang nurse baka may alam silang program for new immigrants na wala pang ohip card. kasi pag walang card discretion ng hospital magkano bibigay nilang price eh. option din namen ang midwives. pero it will all depend kung kelan ma-issue yung visa.

pag na-issue sya ng after july pa, mag stay na muna ko dito at manganak then add si baby sa application/record ko as dependent. madadagdagan nga lang waiting time. pero its worth the wait naman.
