hi all! ;)

i came across this faq at www.canadainternational.ga.ca and i found it very helpful sa mga may situation tulad ng sakin which is pregnant and in dilemma if ever man ma-issue ang visa ko e 1 month nalang due ko na. ang dilemma is about sa di macocover ng healthcard sa ontario yung delivery and hospital expenses since after 3 months pa before ma-cover ng OHIP ang new immigrants. here's a good option for us.

I have already submitted an application for permanent residence, and my spouse just had a baby. What should I do?

If your child was born in Canada or if one of its parents is a Canadian citizen, the child is therefore a Canadian citizen. If that is the case, you do not need to add the child to your application, no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send us a copy of his or her birth certificate. You should contact the Consular Section of the Embassy for information on obtaining citizenship and a Canadian passport for the child.

If the child was not born in Canada or if one of its parents is not a Canadian citizen, you must add the child to your application by sending us a copy of the birth certificate and the required number of photos. Your child will have to undergo a medical examination; we will provide the necessary forms after your child is added to the application. If the child is accompanying you to Canada, you will also have to pay the required fees and obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) in his or her name if your province of destination is Quebec. If you have submitted a Simplified Application, please wait to inform us at the time we request the supporting documents.

Note: Any current family member not examined as part of your application can NEVER be sponsored by you as a member of the Family Class in the future. Misrepresenting or withholding information would render you inadmissible to Canada.

hope it helps din sa mga ibang may same case as mine.

cheers! ;)

Hi sweetsmil_mona. Anong ibig mong sabihin ng Canadian Embassy B Number..? Baka ang Immigration File # yan. starting B then followed by the numbers. If yan nga? nasa mga letter yan ng embasy. file #.

hi to everyone...
Anybody can help me please. I'am under LC2 category, last week nakatanggap ako ng PPR letter
Aside from passport na hinihingi is NBI clearance, 2 recent picture, additional family information (IMM5406), and Appendix A (LC2).
My question is 1. sa Additional family information may Guidelines/instruction na sa Section C ( brothers and sisters ) is a mandatory field that must be signed and dated by all family members. This certifies that all information provided is true and correct. So, lahat po ba ng brothers and sisters ko need nila pumirma? at saan po sa gilid na lang after ng address nila?.

2. sa Appendix A may Guidelines/instruction din po na Make sure all information are provided and are clear and easy to read. Provide your current mailing address and contact numbers...Do i need to fiil-up those passport number and expired date of my spouse? another instruction is Please ensure that you sign and date it. isa lang po yung mayroon box na may sign tsaka date which is yung sa "Original Signature of Principal Applicant. Do I need to sign it or not kasi po di ba ang Principal Applicant is yung asawa na nasa canada?

Thank you po in advance sa makakasagot, nalilito po kasi ako. eh I need to submit na po yung mga documents. Thank you again and God bless all...God is so good..

Hello Pilipino, 1. in the Additional Family Information (IMM5406) section C, ilagay mo lahat ng brothers & sisters mo. No need na pumirma pa ang mga brothers & sisters mo. ikaw na an pumirma sa Section D Certification. if di kasya photocopy mo muna ng blank form then continue additional sheet sa Section C lang.
2. Sa Appendix A naman di na kailangan ilagay ang Spouse/Commmon Law partner. ikaw ang sa Applicant and Child1 and so on if there is child. then ikaw ang magsignature sa Original Signature of Principal Applicant and the date.
Lastly: Photocopy ka muna ng Blank form before ka mag-fill up kasi if incase amy mistake mayroon kang Blank Form.

The point here is your status quo as single is just for your application of Passport renewal. It will not affect your spousal application.
