Kahapon(Monday) lng ako tumawag sa embassy around 4pm... Ah I think, non-office hour na un 5pm. oo nga we can hear a recorded voice. first, I pressed 3 and followed the instructions. tapos, I press 0 pra may makausap ako then may babaeng sumagot... I told her about my concerns tapos sabi nya she will forward me to someone who can assist my concerns and then may lalaki na naman sumagot tapos biglang nadisconnect ang linya kc wala na pala akong load.

Actually, nong tumawag ako.. ginamit ko ibang phone number kaya nga di nla ako na recognized. Pro nong nadisconneect ang linya... he called me sa number na I provided together with my application. He interviewed me like--- he's asking what's my birthdate, my husband's birthdate, address, etc in order to verify that it's really me. Pro, I'm having connection problem with smart network kahapon kaya nga lagi nla ako tinawagan... i think he phone called me 6x until we got into their time cut-off.. so he told me he will be calling me the next day(today around 10am). But it's my big surprised! Instead of calling me around 10am... he made it at 8am and asked me if I already have my visa package since they sent it via DHL courier last Nov. 18. Sinabihan ko xa na wala ako natanggap. So binigyan nya ako ng tracking no. and phone number sa DHL manila and cebu.

I'm so sorry Kayewen, napakatagal na nga since u filed ur app... I hope and pray na you will get any positive updates about ur app processing. I think, dapat mo cla tawagan at inquire mo if ano na ngyari sa app mo. For sure, pwd ka tumawag kc over 6 months ka na eh... eto nga pala no. nla 028579000.

Ok, bukas kip on trying to reach them until may makausap ka... I wish you good luck and advace merry xmas... sana nga xmas gift mo na ang visa mo... God bless... and stay strong... ur time will surely come soon...

as advice to me mag print out from cic website.is it ok na hndi n sya baliktaran just like
what you can see in the file na print per page n sya.kasi di daw pwede ang photocopy.
pls help....

Hi Kayewen and everyone!

I am new here, but i've been following this thread. We almost have the same timeline. In my case, i am the sponsor. This is my timeline:

March 23-application sent to CPC mississauga with medical done
June 1- approved sponsorship
June 9-file sent to Manila according to ecas
June 20-my husband received letter from manila embassy asking for his passport
June 30-received a letter again from embassy asking for additional documents
July 8-received a letter again from embassy asking for another document because according to them my husband was not examined when i applied for permanent resident visa, so he is not eligible to be an immigrant
July 15-my husband completed all documents they requested
until now no news from the embassy manila

I hope you can also update me if you receive any news after you call the embassy.Thanks i advance ;D

yes my husband acquired his pr because of his parents. sabay sabay nila na acquire yung pr. and yes he was declared as single. pero during the time na umalis sya. we are not married yet. mag bfgf pa lang kame, it so happened lang na we lived together, pero its with our friends and co workers para narin sa trabaho and it lasted for a year, he was not aware na active pa yung application nila, but to cut it short, we are in a relationship during the time he landed pero we are not yet married. we were unaware na common law set na pala yung set up namin to think na we are just boardmates eh. the only difference is we are together. yun. in fact, umuuwi kame kanya kanyang parents pag rest days. so they thought na i was an undeclared family member dahil iam the common law partner daw. pero we all thought na, i was not really a family member by then kase mag bfgf pa lng naman kame non so why declare and examine me diba? plus the fact na we hardly see each other noon dahil sa work. the fact na nakakainis is that, we did all the legal things we should do para ma sponsor na nya ko to start our life jan. pero they were blocking us because we were on the sa apartment for a year.. haha super nakakainsulto sila. ang sakit.

yup its ok kahit hndi na baliktaran, mas mabigat ngalang ang i me mail mo sa knila but that's nothing to worry.

sana mareceive mona ang Visa mo para magkasabay kayo ni fil_love_can. masaya pag ka ganun lalo first time exciting yon, ganyan din ako before, pero madami k nman makikilala na makakasabay so no worry.

Ask ko lang, I wonder if I should still notify cpc-m or manila canadian embassy that I've given birth and send them a copy of my son's birth certificate? Nakuha na ng hubby ko visa nya hindi ko alam kung sabihin ko pa sa kanila
