Hi, may tanong lang sana ako.. Meron po ba dito same situation as mine, applying for outland sponsorship as common-law? Kung meron, follow up question, issue ba kung kasal pa rin ako sa pinas(separated) pag inisponsor ako as common-law ng partner ko na PR? And andito ako ngayon sa canada with my sponsor living together for more than 2yrs na.

hi, same kayo ng friend ko, she received a call from cem this late afternoon asking if she can leave before feb 13 kasi thats the date her medical expires. She's march 2015 applicant, pp was june 2015. I got a feeling na by february they will issue my visa na since march 30 expire ng medical ko. Although, they havent asked for my passport yet.. my mga cases ba na ganun, cem will call u to submit ur passport because theyll issue na the visa right away?

Hi I'm an OFW in Singapore and I just got married in the Philipiines with a canadian citizen. I heard that it's faster to get immigrant visa through express entry (based on my self-assessment for Express Entry ranking points, I could get higher score.) So I am wondering which immigration pathway is better for me? Spousal sponsorhip or express entry? Here's some information so you could give me idea if the following information will have bearings on our application:

1. My husband is Filipino who moved to Canada when he was 14. He just started a new job because he left his long time job 2 years ago to help with family business. It means he was unemployed 2 years ago.

2. Husband just finished a highschool vocational.

2. He was convicted 10 years ago for possession of illegal substance.

3. Doesn't have fat bank account.

4. I have post graduate degrees.

5. Long term job ( but I just started the current one )
6. We just got married a month ago.

Which do you think would be faster for us?

There's no need of show money or proof of fund to sponsor a spouse.. But hindi ka dapat ntanggap ng financial assistance from the government or hindi ka nagfile ng bankruptcy or something..

Yung husband ko na canadian citizen na magsponsor sakin left job 2 years ako so for one year he was getting unemployment pension, would that affect our application?

So you're both in Canada?? Because what I understand of outland sponsorship is wala sa Canada ung magssponsor.. so pano kayo mag-aapply ng outland sponsorship?? and sa follow up question mo, in my mom's case.. nung inisponsor nya kami, hindi sumama father ko.. seperated sila. but for faster processing, inadvice sa kanya na magfile ng divorce..

So you're both in Canada?? Because what I understand of outland sponsorship is wala sa Canada ung magssponsor.. so pano kayo mag-aapply ng outland sponsorship?? and sa follow up question mo, in my mom's case.. nung inisponsor nya kami, hindi sumama father ko.. seperated sila. but for faster processing, inadvice sa kanya na magfile ng divorce..

Pwede naman daw, we have 2 choices inland or outland, we opted for outland for faster processing and yun din advice ng legal consultant namin.

May nabasa ako somewhere here din na for visa stamping na sya so kelangan na ibigay nya passport nya since di pa sya na PP request. hope that answers ur question friend

Hello ! Nareceive ng sponsor ko ang SA nya thru mail kahit nilagay nya email address sa app. So does it mean po ba na ecocontact ako ng CEM thru mail din ???

Yes po updated na ecas ko started processing na ung PR side. Pero pag mgcontact ung CEM sakin like PPR , thru mail din po ? Kc SA ng sponsor ko is thru mail.

Notify CIC for changes in your application, such as:

Changes in your personal circumstances such as a birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce.
Change in contact information (email, mailing address and phone number).

Continue to monitor your old contact information until your application is updated.
