Hello Guys,

January 28, 2015 when we received email from CIC requesting our passport. February 3, 2015 when i sent our passport to CEM after 1 month emailed CEM if they have our passport, and CEM confirmed that they have it. But until now we have not received our passport with visa stamp.
How long will it take for CEM to process and send back the passport with visa. Anyway CIC mail indicates our visa validity is on 20 July 2015.

Question I'm about to send the application to sponsor my wife from the Philippines. I been hearing that the process seems to go faster if she were to change her last name to mine. Can I still send the application or must I wait for all of her documents first before I can apply. If that is the case does anyone know how long does it take to change all the government documents and obtain a new passport?

Same here... My husband's passport has been with CEM for almost a month now but still application received sa ECAS. September 2014 applicant.

Hello im sept 2014 applicant too. My passport is in ecas about more than 2months already. May i know your timeline? And did cic emailed you and indicated your visa validity??

Meron po ba dito PPR na and ang validity is till APRIL lng po? pano po kayo nag update sa CEM and ilang days bago nyo na received passport nyo?
bali sang courier po pinadala ng cem?

Hi croncas, Yes! CIC mail already indicates my visa validity. It says that my visa is valid until 20 July 2015. .

hi harvey, i am a september applicant too.. di nagkakalayo ung application mo sa application ko.. Jan. 15, 2015 ppr and sent Jan, 19.. till now same din tayo ng update sa ecas.. feeling ko iisa lang ung may hawak ng application natin..

Ano nakalagay sa status ng ecas mo jazz? Sa tingin mo kailan kaya naten marerecv yung visa naten?? Can we keep in touch para malaman naten kung kelan dumating pp?

Eto palang nakalagay sa ecas ko as of now.. Weekly kong chinecheck kung mag in-process na ba or anu but the same

1.We received application for permanent residence on September 19, 2014.

2.Medical results have been received.

Sa tingin ko and hoping na this coming month of april may balita na sa visa.. kasi nbasa ko ung ng ppr ng first week ng january nakuha na nila visa but still, nkasasalay sa humahawak ng application natin. mdjo nababagot na kasi di ko inexpect na ganito pala katagal..
