Sponsorship Approval: January 18, 2013.
PPR: July 3, 2013
Passport Sent to the Embassy: July 9, 2013
Visa: waiting

June 24 po ako nagpasa ng Passport ko then July 26 my visa arrived po... Antay antay lang po darating din yan...

I agree MP wont help to speed up the processing .In your second sentence regarding applicants who got their visa right away are the applicants who apply as a Skilled Worker and Proffessional Immigrant .They are quick on processing compare to FAMILY CLASS. Some of the Family class receive their visa really quick due to their Medical expiration. They didnt base on their high skilled or any jobs related.

this is my observation and experienced talking to this new immigrants, they are from a FAMILY CLASS SPONSORSHIP with skills. if about the medical expiration as what you stated, I don't know about that but that's good news for those Family class applicants. I'm not arguing but sharing. I have been here for a decade now, this is just my cents.
