Yes po. Last name and given name lang yung sa visa ko. Sa canada, hindi naman sila particular sa middle name. Yung middle name kase sa kanila is not ung maiden name naten :D

be careful of your Middle name. "hindi sila particular" - this is very sensitive case, they used to ask you about this for security reason, ex the bank, other institution. this is my experienced for 9 years living here.

in my opinion in the case of some of our kababayan applying still in the 1st stage, i would suggest middle name should be included unless you have two first name. i don't think this is a problem if you did't fill up your mother maiden name. this is just my cents.

hi,
anybody used only their 1st and last name(without middle/maiden name) sa application?
would that be ok?
if not, do i need to update my information sa CEM? how so??
thanks!!

Thanks a lot Iay and marjcd ...May I seek advice from you guys for my son who is 23 y/o, had been to 1st yr college 3yrs ago, included in our application but doesn't fall in any of the 3 types of dependent. What's the best option we could get him aside from the FC sponsorship? Can he apply for a visit visa while our application is on process or wait until we get there in Canada? Do we have to pay for his fee?

Thanks a lot...I really need advice on how we can get him later...

abscott

Hi when did you initially log in your application? There's a lock in age by the time you submit your application.

Type A
The dependant is under the age of 22 and is single (not married and not in a common-law relationship).
Type B
The dependant has been continuously enrolled in and in attendance as a full‑time student at a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority and has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent either:
since before the age of 22, or
since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship (if it happened before the age of 22).
Type C
The dependant is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22, and is unable to provide for himself or herself because of a medical condition.

or he could apply his own visa but he will be assessed individually he need strong ties but he cannot stay more than 6 months. There are other options like work permit or student visa

there's no "faster" way. everyone has to undergo process. although, it will be smoother if you have a COMPLETE application package...no other docs needed and your medical results are all good then you have a shot of less than 12 months.. you can check the spreadsheet. you will see some who made it before 12 months.. :)

just be patient. it feels longer when you worry so much.

even you have COMPLETE application package, there's a BACKLOG... that's why very slow processing... and strike too...

Goodluck sis! there's no wrong of hoping. matinding dasal lang :)

when was your medical?

Hubby did his meds April 20 i think.
He forwarded everything to me May na coz he renewed his passport pa.

Then I was supposed to submit May din without Option C but with all explanation and supporting docu as to why we dont have that but on the day na e forward kna sa CPC-M dumating ung Tax Refund Papers ko from CRA so we decided to request and wait na naman for Option C. :D

That's the reason kung bakit June 10 kna na e forward sa CPC-M ung docu namin. But at least complete cya. ;D
