i agree with all of you...i share the same sentiments. feeling ko lang kase priority nila ngayon bigyan ng visa ang mga FSW. like yung mga nagsubmit ng PP nung april, same month or this month meron na agad visa. while sa family class, case-to-case basis ang labanan. ang problema nga lang eh yung mga naunang nag-file apps like ako august pa, then sept-dec batch eh mukhang natabunan na talaga ang processing at mas mauna pang lumabas visa ng mga jan 2012 batch. wala naman tayo magawa kundi ang mag-antay. at their mercy tayo kumbaga. hay, sana umulan na uli ng visa sa family class next week.
sana nga umulan ng visa for the family class as well as for the fsw next week. para everybody happy. 4 months na nasa CEM passports namin. :|

guys we dont need to be negative ... kc mas lalo nakakastress.. :) all we have to do is to help each other :) kc pag naguumpisa ang negative sa conversation lalo lng masama sa loob natin ... let us keep the positive attitude and be happy... :D :D :D :D
I agree with u, be positive nlng, pray nlang instead of complaining and growing negative thoughts and doubts.

I have read here na baka educ background tinitignan like if nurses asawa na ini sponsor, nurse po ako pero i dont think base don kaya napabilis samin, we have a complete app with 100photoa fm 1st meeting to wedding, that, and the rest we painfully completed just like everyone did I guess.... but because we are a nurse? Not fair naman cguro sabihin nla un...

Sna magkavisa na lahat lalo na ung mga matagal na pra nman san san napupunta isipan, lalo sa negative thoughts

Good day to all! A little help, please. I'm working on our spousal sponsorship forms and I'd like to ask for help from those who were already done with their applications. I have the following questions:

Document Checklist> Proof of Medical Examination:
1) Do I have to go for a medical exam before sending our forms and include the results in the application? or should we submit our application first and wait for the embassy's advice as to when I can take the medical exam then submit the results in the middle of the processing?

Document Checklist> Identity and Civil Status Documents:
2) Do I have to have these documents (NSO Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate) authenticated by having them red ribboned through DFA?

Form IMM 0008 (Generic Application Form):

3) Personal Details> Full name> Family name(s), Given name(s) (exactly as shown on your passport or travel document)
* It asks for a full name, but it did not explicitly ask for a "middle name", do I have to include my middle name under "given name(s)"? Or should I drop my middle name and just put my surname and first name?

4) National Identity Document
* Do we have one in the Philippines? If so, what could be provided as national identity document?

5) Contact Information: Current mailing address and email address
* So it says, all correspondences will go to current mailing address unless an email address is specified. I provided an email address. To those who also provided an email address, did the embassy still send you mails to your mailing address? or did you receive notices through email?

Form IMM 5669 (Background Declaration):

6) Question 6d) Have you been refused refugee status, an immigrant or PR visa or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

* I was denied a tourist visa a few times. All of those I applied at the time when I was single. I am newly married, btw. The embassies usually provide a generic refusal letter. To those who also answered "Yes" to the question, what type of details did you provide in the box that asks details for refusal?

Thank you for reading my post. I would appreciate any input. :)

Document Checklist> Proof of Medical Examination:
1) Do I have to go for a medical exam before sending our forms and include the results in the application? or should we submit our application first and wait for the embassy's advice as to when I can take the medical exam then submit the results in the middle of the processing?

ANS: No need to wait. You can take the medical exam right away. Just provide the Appendix C document to your the Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP). If you come earlier, they can finish the exam within a day and they will provide to you a copy of the Medical Report Section A (IMM1017) (Color Green Document). You will need to include this document when you send your application. Check this link - the nearest DMP where you can take your medical exam.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=2009&CountryName=Philippines

Also, I suggest you scan all your original documents and filled-up application forms before you submit so you can have a copy and make it as your reference when back tracking your application.

Document Checklist> Identity and Civil Status Documents:
2) Do I have to have these documents (NSO Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate) authenticated by having them red ribboned through DFA?
Form IMM 0008 (Generic Application Form):

ANS: IMO, No need for red ribboned.. Its redundant... NSO BC, Marriage Cert. by itself are already a legal documents. ;)

ANS: IN our case we did include the middle name. No harm done.. I got my visa already. ;)

4) National Identity Document
* Do we have one in the Philippines? If so, what could be provided as national identity document?

ANS: No, but i provided my social security number (SSS).

5) Contact Information: Current mailing address and email address
* So it says, all correspondences will go to current mailing address unless an email address is specified. I provided an email address. To those who also provided an email address, did the embassy still send you mails to your mailing address? or did you receive notices through email?

ANS: Yes, they correspond through email also.

ANS: YES, just mention the date when the TRV application was applied and denied. Others include the refusal letter.
