reyzki, Middle east visa office is in Abu dhabi, processing time is 27 months. Most companies in Saudi keep their employees passport, so I dont think she can give her passport to the embassy once they requested it.

Your wife's best option is to repatriate and wait while her application is being processed. Normal processing time in CEM is 10 months, but most of the forumers here got their visa in 4th or 5th month.

I also sponsored my wife when she was still in Saudi. Ang gawin mo pakuhanin mo n sya ng PCC sa Saudi. The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application. If the original certificate is neither in English nor in French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator with your application or else they will request you to obtain another PCC. My wife was still in Saudi when I submitted the application to sponsor her then she just went home when the CEM requested for her PP for the reason that the employer won’t give your PP if you are still staying in Saudi. That’s the best way you can do. My wife’s application only took her 3 months to get her VISA.

sa immigration sis eh address na tutuluyan, ilang amount ang dala kong pera, den when last na umuwi si hubby sa pilipinas..
sa customs, kung my dala akong foods.. kung meron ano mga yun?? at kung my goods o follow pa ako.. binigay ko lang yung list ko den hindi na nila open mga luggage ko.. pina conpute lang total amount.. ;D ;D

Hi everyone... I am so inspired to read about each one's timeline. I am sponsoring my daughter and grandson though. I wish they will be here next month.

Ito timeline nila:

August 26- CEM/ Medical results received
Sep 2- Request Transcripts from schools
Sep 8- Send requested TOR
Sep 15- PPR request
Sep 15- Send PPR ( send same day)

I wish they will have their visa this month.

Hello everyone....this is a GREAT thread, and really supportive. My story:
- met my fiance April...fell in DEEP love
- Travelled to Phil June to meet family and friends...was blown away...so gorgeous, so loving....everything I've ever wanted!!
- asked her to marry me July 9 before leaving back to Canada

Now there are some problems....well sort of...haha. she has a work contract in Dubai, and I want to be with her, so I'll be leaving work (on a long term leave) to go seek employment and marry her in Dubai....then submit my PR application/sponsorship to Canada. We won't be able to have a glamorous honeymoon until her contract is up next year....so does anyone see any problems? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated?
